Mød giftige væsener som vores løvefisk og skorpionfisk og find ud af, hvordan disse fantastiske rovdyr bruger dødbringende gift for at beskytte sig mod større væsner, mens de jager efter byttedyr. Kom derefter ansigt til ansigt med nogle af de øverste rovdyr i revens fødekæde, når du møder vores moray ål, stingrays og samling af hajer. Find ud af, hvordan vi plejer disse fantastiske skabninger, og hvad du kan gøre for at hjælpe med at beskytte dem og deres levesteder. Vores nye rovdyr i Reef-området ser en renovering på 25.000 pund af det område, der tidligere indeholdt vores klovnfisk (ikke rolig, du kan stadig 'finde Nemo' i vores koraller-display!). Dette område vil blive fuldstændigt renoveret og om temaet for at vise nogle af de underligste, hårdeste og mest giftige rovdyr, som revet har at byde på. Dette område vil nu tilbyde en introduktion til fødekæden, før besøgende går videre til vores Ocean Tank og Tropical Ocean Tunnel, hvor de møder de øverste rovdyr i revet og Skotlands største samling af hajarter! Gå ikke glip af Skotlands største samling af hajarter, der fodres i vores Ocean Tank hver anden dag kl. 13.30. Hvis tropiske hajer ikke bliver fodret med dagen for dit besøg, vil vores Deep Loch Tank indeholdende vores indfødte hajer og stråler være! Har du nogensinde ønsket at stryge en søstjerne? Nu er din chance ved vores rockende Rockpools! Besøg vores Rays Bay og møde de eneste Cow Nose Rays i Skotland! Forbered dig på at blive forbløffet, når du kommer ansigt til fin med vores utrolige Bonnethead Sharks. Disse fantastiske skabninger er medlemmer af Hammerhead-familien! Kan du se dem i vores havtunnel, der svømmer omkring det forladte forlis?

Lovely staffs, child friendly, my little enjoyed every bit of it.
Took my 10 year old and his pal here last weekend. Unable to comment on costs as I paid for it with my Tesco Clubard points. But we had a blast. Yes it's not the biggest aquarium but there's lots to see, staff are friendly, location is good with lots to do out side at the Lomond Shores outlet. The cafe is very good, our food was tasty, fresh and well-portioned. And a lovely view up the loch. The boys loved it and spent several hours there - all you can ask for
Disappointed at having to pay twice, after accidentally selecting the wrong date & then your system refusing to allow me to change the date despite paying extra for a flexible ticket that did allow date changes. Despite emailing you about this issue nobody bothered replying. There could be better signage at the lifts, that if you go past them you are heading for the exit. A member of your staff then directed me to go all the way back through to get to the lifts, when there was actually another lift just a few feet away in the gift shop, which I only spotted on the way out.
The aquarium was a lot smaller than I expected, you could literally walk around in 10 mins and be done, you are allowed to go around as many times as you want but after 2 or 3 times you have seen everything. The cafe was not great didnt offer much. The photo experience print outs are a bit pricey as well. All in all the day out for 2 adults and one toddler cost around £120. Will probably go to deep sea world next time. Staff were really nice though so can't fault them for customer service.

I'm a local resident in the area. I find it frustrating how expensive it is. 2 adults, 2 kids, around £50/60 then there is the kids wanting a toy and a meal so it ends up being £100. There really needs to be something in place for local residents to be affordably visit more often! Especially given how small it is, you crack through it inside an hour easily! The variety of animals is good and there are many opportunities to learn. The shark feeding guide was good too. But, it keeps coming back to cost for me, it's simply not worth it and there is no loyalty or incentive for locals.

Fantastic first visit with my daughter (13 months). She was initially reluctant because it was a new experience, but all the staff were friendly and engaging with her and she soon got her confidence. She recently started walking and there were lots of fish to keep her distracted and walking for almost an hour. Then we watched the otters being fed! 🦦 Great views from the cafe, Costa coffee, less than £5 for kids’ meal deal and gorgeous views of the loch. We didn’t make use of the cinema, but will when she’s older. Fantastic day out, and will be buying an annual pass.

Lovely aquarium with an amazing variety of creatures to see. Loads of interesting facts surrounding the viewing windows as well. We spent around 3hours looking around, but could of easily spent longer watching the otter, he's absolutely adorable. I was also impressed with how accessible the entire place was. I was able to view/go everywhere in my wheelchair with ease. We did do the shark feeding experience, which was crazy good! The staff members were really friendly and full of interesting info on the different species. They went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of the time. It was worth every penny, as how often can you stick feed a leopard shark or give some shrimp to a whip tail ray! Amazing opportunity.

We had a nice time going round the exhibits. It’s not very big and doesn’t take very long so we went round twice. It’s a lot of money for the time you’re there.

Enjoyed Sea Otters and Ridley Green turtle. This aquarium is, however aimed at young children. It would be good if there was more for older children and adults. The cinema shows a carton for under 7s. Perhaps there could also be films aimed at an older age range. Even the shop is aimed at young children as it mainly has soft toys.
