This event was amazing, my husband is not a classical music fan and only went because this has always been on my bucket list. My husband loved it and I was so moved by it brought more than a tear to my eye. The absolute highlight of Vienna for me. If you are considering going just do it. The only negative I have is that Viatour did not put the right directions on and so we were running around asking cafe staff and people on site where to go. We were not the only ones that found this process difficult. Luckily we made it just in time.

The programme was misleading. Mozart and Strauss were advertised, but around half of the pieces were by completely different composers. If we had known the actual programme, we would have chosen another concert in Vienna. Essentially, you buy a ticket without knowing what you are actually going to hear. Poor ticket communication. After purchasing the ticket, we received an email saying that our booking was only a request and that the actual ticket would follow later. It arrived several days later, and surprisingly, the ticket did not even state the concert start time. €10 for the programme is outrageous. With tickets costing around €90, charging an additional €10 for a simple printed programme is simply unreasonable. Extremely expensive refreshments. The prices for drinks and refreshments during the interval were also shockingly high, especially on top of such an expensive ticket. The venue feels cheap. The concert takes place essentially in a converted corridor. The artificially illuminated ceiling, with repetitive light movements, looks rather cheap and kitschy than elegant or impressive. No reserved seating. At this ticket price, it is hard to understand why guests have to arrive 30 minutes early and compete for the best seats. Reserved seating should be standard for a €90 ticket. The musicians performed reasonably well, but the ensemble lacked precision. There were several less coordinated entrances and endings, and at times the musicians seemed to lose the rhythm. We have attended much cheaper concerts in Vienna with significantly better performances.

A very beautiful evening, the concert was very beautiful, the food at Gerstel a delight, the service perfect. Unfortunately, the beef was a bit tough. The tour was interesting, unfortunately too stressful. You had the audio guide in your hand, therefore no possibility to take photos. You had to decide between taking photos or listening to information.

We had a wonderful concert evening in the Orangerie. Everything was perfectly organized. The orchestra, the soloists, and the conductor harmonized perfectly and visibly had a lot of fun delighting us with their performance. We can recommend a visit without hesitation.

Although there are different price categories, there are - inexplicably to us - no numbered seats! This requires unpleasant waiting times due to arriving earlier and lining up. The concert itself is worth a visit, especially for tourists.

The whole experience is not as advertised. The picture appeared that it was going to be in a lovely room and it was just in a drab concert hall. The performance wasn’t even that great we actually left at intermission.

A pop concert of the 19th century. Light, entertaining, and famous melodies by Austrian composers in an equally historic and magnificent setting. The Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace brings "the good old days" back to life. A highlight for visitors to Vienna, but also a nice evening for locals. I was there with my 90-year-old mother.
