Endnu en historie, som Sarajevo er berømt for, er de XIV olympiske lege, der var blevet afholdt i vores by. Vores tur er skabt for at lade dig opleve ånden fra OL og få et flashback til 1980'erne. I 1984 fandt de bedst organiserede vinter-OL nogensinde sted i Sarajevo. Du vil have mulighed for at besøge 3 fantastiske bjerge på én dag, startende fra det olympiske stadion Kosevo og Olympic Hall Zetra, inklusive det olympiske museum. Sarajevo olympiske bjergetur starter med et besøg på det olympiske stadion, hvor åbningsceremonierne for vinter-OL i 1984 fandt sted. Til dette arrangement blev den grundigt renoveret og udvidet. Det er hjemsted for fodboldklub FK Sarajevo og Bosnien-Herzegovina nationale fodboldhold. Klubben foreslog det nye navn Asim Ferhatovic - Hase til ære for sin tidligere fodboldspiller og klubbens legende. Det er et multifunktionsstadion, der blev bygget i 1947 i perioden efter 2. verdenskrig. Tidligere ungdomsarbejdsbrigader fra alle dele af landet deltog i opførelsen af stadionet. Stadionet var vært for store fodboldhold som Manchester United, Real Madrid, Inter osv.
Olympic Hall Zetra blev bygget til vinter-OL i 1984. Beskrevet som ”ultramodern” var det vært for ishockey-spil og hurtigskøjtebegivenheder i OL. I Olympic Hall Zetra besøger vi det olympiske museum, hvor du finder mange originale genstande fra Sarajevo vinter-olympiske lege.
Først på vej er bjerg Bjelasnica, den højeste del af Dinaric Mountains og det bedste skicenter i Bosnien og Herzegovina i dag. Alpint skiløb af de olympiske lege blev afholdt på dette bjerg. Her kan du nyde en svævebane (valgfri) eller varm te i et smukt bjerghus.
Efter Bjelasnica olympiske bjergtur i Sarajevo fortsætter man til bjerg Igman. På denne bjergkonkurrence afholdt i nordisk skiløb, skiskydning og spring. Du kan se springende skråninger stadig står.
Bjerget er kendt for konkurrence i bob og slæde, der fandt sted i Sarajevo vinter-olympiske lege i 1984. Fra Trebevic-bjerget kan du nyde det smukkeste panorama over byen Sarajevo.

Growing up in the 80s, I remember enthusiastically watching the Olympics in Sarajevo. It was a great opportunity to see some of the actual sites from those games! The tour takes you through many wooded, picturesque back roads, which is a nice break from the city. It was especially interesting to hear stories from the local guide describing how the whole community came together to make sure the city was ready to welcome the world for this special event, along with stories of what it was like to live through the tragic events that followed only years later. This tour is recommended for fans of sports and history alike!
Our guide was knowledgeable and well versed about the tour topic. We saw the iconic bobsled , ski jumping, men's alpine, and the Igman Hotel. Due to road construction we were a bit late for our next scheduled tour but our guide called our next guide and arranged all the details so we didn't miss a beat. We learned all sorts of fun facts about the 1984 Winter games and was not disappointed. Only wish that road construction hadn't lost time for us as we didn't get to see the Olympic Stadium, Zetra Hall or the Olympic Museum. This should not in anyway reflect on our guide. We highly recommend him, his company, and tour. Outstanding !!!

Guide was amazing, tour just seems to be lacking something. It was neat to see each place and not have to walk there or take separate trips, but would be neat to see how this could fuse with the Olympic museum in some way (exhibits at each site, a docent that might accompany the tour, etc.) Nothing to blame on the guide or the company, was just a boring topic for be personally maybe.

It was a wonderful tour through the Bosnien mountain. Allan my guide was really nice and it was interesting to learn about thé nature and the History of Bosnian.

It is meaningful to see the former olympic site, at the same time as the frontline during the war, in half day. The violence is directly presented through architecture, so as the complicated history of Bosnia in the last half century. Also it is a great combination of natural tour and museum tour. Our tour guide Agan(or Alan? forgive my poor memory) is really good, understandable and friendly. I really enjoyed today!

Alan was my tour guide. I was lucky to be the only person on the tour. Alan took me to all the Winter Olympic locations. The highlights were definitely the abandoned ski jump at Igman and the bobsled track at Trebevica. But i also got to see the abandoned Hotel Igman, the former olympic village, the stadiums and the slalom track. Absolutely fantastic and really blew me away. Thanks Alan!

I took a private tour of the Sarajevo Olympic site. Our driver and guide, Bedo, gave a very detailed explanation. He answered all my questions he could about not only the Olympics, but also Sarajevo's past and present. We visited as many Olympic-related facilities as we could, and I thought it was wonderful that we all took different routes and saw different views at each one. It was an interesting tour that allowed us to see the effects of the civil war from a different perspective, the Olympic site. I recommend it.

The Olympic tour was done on Wednesday, November 22, under winter weather conditions. It had snowed quite a bit the night before. Fortunately, Senad, our driver, was an experienced driver and he reassured us in a special way. Despite the snow, we still went to the ski jumps and the bobsleigh track by car. This made it a special experience. Senad told us a lot, he was aware of everything and gave very interesting information about both Sarajevo and the mountains in a light-hearted manner.
