Sarajevo til Split (eller modsat): Transfer med Herzegovina Tour

Denne tur tager dig fra Sarajevo til Split eller fra Split til Sarajevo og inkluderer guidede ture på mange smukke steder i Hercegovina. En af dem er Konjic - en lille, men smuk by berømt for sin gamle bro. Vi passerer gennem den fantastiske Neretva-flodkløft og ankommer til Mostar, hvor du kan se dens vigtigste attraktion - Mostars UNESCO-bro. Der er også Blagaj Tekke, beliggende ved siden af Spring of River Buna i et klippefyldt amfiteater, der vil efterlade dig forpustet. Dagsturens første stop er et kort besøg i den gamle del af den lille, men charmerende by - Konjic. Symbolet på Konjic er Den Gamle Stenbro, som forbinder bredden af Neretva-floden i århundreder. Det var siden 1682. indtil 2. verdenskrig, hvor de tyske besættere ødelagde det, under tilbagetrækningen af deres tropper. Den blev rekonstrueret som den oprindelige bro i 2009 og har været på listen over nationale monumenter i BiH siden 2003. I Konjic kan du nyde en kop kaffe eller en kort gåtur.
Vores næste stop er Mostar - en af de smukkeste byer i Bosnien-Hercegovina. Mostar er en by af sten på sten, Hercegovinas historiske, politiske, videnskabelige og kulturelle centrum beliggende i Neretva-floddalen. Den mest berømte attraktion i Mostar er den gamle bro, bygget i 1566. Siden 2005 er den på UNESCOs verdensarvsliste. Frem for alt er det byens bankende hjerte, et stærkt ikonisk symbol på dens historie og et af landets mest genkendelige vartegn. Vi vil også se den skæve bro – den ældste buebro i Mostar. I Mostar finder du Hamam – et traditionelt tyrkisk bad. Derudover vil denne tur dække Koski Mehmed Pasha-moskeen, den næststørste moske i Mostar. Kujundžiluk – Old Bazzar, snor sig langs en lille smuk brostensbelagt gade, der dateres tilbage til midten af det 16. århundrede. Derfor kan du finde karakteristiske kunsthåndværksbutikker og traditionelle restauranter i dette område.
Vores næste destination er Blagaj – en oase af fred og naturlig harmoni. I Blagaj vil du se en Tekke – Dervish-klosteret, bygget omkring 1520. Klosteret er et vigtigt monument fra den tidlige osmanniske periode i Bosnien-Hercegovina. Dervisherne har brugt klostret til at udføre deres specielle ritualer - Dhikr (lovprisning til Gud). Blagaj Tekke ligger ved Buna-flodens Kilde, omgivet af smukke bjerge. I stilheden i Dervish-husets have, afkølet af friskheden af den vidunderlige flod med den mest spektakulære udsigt. Derfor vil du forstå, hvorfor Blagaj var i fokus for historiske personligheder, romersk adel, osmanniske vesirer og kadier, østrig-ungarske officerer og mange rejsende, der søgte efter friskheden i vandet, solens varme og den blå himmel. Frokosttid er i en fantastisk restaurant beliggende ved kilden til floden Buna.
Efter Pocitelj ankommer vi til vores næste stop – Kravice vandfald. Kravice-vandfaldet, der ligger ved Trebižat-floden, er en miniversion af Niagara-vandfaldet, gemt på Balkan. Kravice-vandfaldene danner et naturligt amfiteater 40 km sydvest for byen Mostar. For sin fantastiske skønhed og uberørte natur har staten beskyttet det som en naturlig sjældenhed. Dens højde er 25 meter. Desuden er Kravice-vandfaldet et populært svømme- og picnicområde.
Vores næste stop er Pocitelj - den aftrappede osmanniske fæstningslandsby. Det er et middelalderligt og osmannisk-middelhavsvidunder af natur og arkitektur, et sted som intet andet. Omgivet af et stejlt klippeamfiteater er det et væld af trapper, der klatrer mellem faldefærdige huse med stentage og granatæblebuske. Vi vil bestige den fantastiske Kula (Fort of Počitelj), på 45m over havets overflade, som tilbyder en betagende udsigt. På kun ét billede vil du se Neretva-floden, den imponerende Hajji Alijas moske, mekteb (muslimsk grundskole), imaret (velgørende køkken), medresa (muslimsk gymnasium), Hamam (tyrkisk offentlig bad), han (offentligt bad) kro) og sahat-kula (klokketårn). Počitelj er et ægte magisk sted, der overskrider tiden. Det er et sted bare at vandre, fare vild i tanker og føle en dyb følelse af sindsro.

We stopped at Potecilj, Kravice Falls and the Bridge Mostar. We also had lunch at an outstanding restaurant on the outskirts of Mostar. It was right on the river. Our guide, Ismet, is very knowledgeable about the history of the area from the fourth century on. Couldn't have asked for a better tour.

I had the most amazing experience for my transfer/tour trip from Sarajevo to Split, which definitely exceeded my expectations. There were five stops in between and each one was wonderful, such as the Old Bridge in Mostar and Historic Urban Site of Pecitelj. My tour guide, Muhammad, was very responsible, knowledgeable and took efforts to help. Though it was a long and exhausting trip, Muhammad made sure that I got to the hotel in Split before heading back to Sarajevo. Other staff members working in the office are responsive and friendly as well.

Our transfer ended up being a private one but it was great because we got to go at our own pace. Our driver Regan was full of information and gave us the details on all our stops! Also very good and safe driving. We had enough time to see all the sites and experiences, and it was on time as expected

Our tour guide, Vedo, gave us an absolutely unforgettable experience. It happened just by chance to be a private tour that day, so we really got to personalize our itinerary based on what we (and Vedo!) were interested in. He was a great and safe driver, warm, knowledgeable, and HILARIOUS! We swapped many jokes the whole day. It was wonderful to have a tour guide who was so willing to share a local’s perspective on Bosnian culture and who was curious about our lives, too. Each stop along the drive was beautiful and unique, with many opportunities to get snacks, walk around, and experience Herzegovina. One of the best meals we had on our whole vacation was the burek he bought for us (!) at a little place in a random town - we never would have known to eat there if it weren’t for his knowledge. It’s definitely a long trip, but there are many opportunities to stretch your legs. We recommend bringing your swimsuit if you want to take a dip at Kravice.

The tour stops at all of the highlights of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The sites are incredibly beautiful. My guide was very knowledgeable, and told me about each site, and also told me about the history of the country and the regions we were driving through. He made sure I knew what to see at each site, what I should be careful about (pickpockets, slippery rocks) and gave me time to explore each site. It was a great trip, and I highly recommend it.
