Vi kan starte vores eventyr fra enten Aria Mall eller dit hotel. Så møder du din venlige og vidende chauffør og rejseleder. Derfra tager vi til Vranduk fæstningen, et middelalderligt slot, der har bestået tidens tand. Dernæst besøger vi Tesanj Slot, en fantastisk fæstning, der tilbyder en betagende udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab. Til sidst vil vi udforske Srebrenik-fæstningen, et velbevaret slot, der kan dateres tilbage til det 14. århundrede. Gennem hele turen lærer du om den fascinerende historie om disse fæstninger og den rolle, de spillede i at forme Bosniens fortid.
Vranduk fæstning er en middelalderborg, der har bestået tidens tand. Det ligger på en klippe over floden Bosnien og tilbyder en fantastisk udsigt over det omkringliggende landskab. Fæstningen blev bygget under det bosniske kongerige og tjente engang som residens for den bosniske kong Stjepan Tomas 1 fra det 15. århundrede. Slottet består af et citadel med hovedtårnet og en beskyttende mur, der omgiver det indre af middelalderbyen 2. Det er en af mange middelalderlige bosniske byer med intensivt politisk, økonomisk og kulturelt liv. Fæstningen er en populær besøgsattraktion og er blevet erklæret som et nationalt monument i Bosnien-Hercegovina.
Tešanj Castle er en fæstning beliggende i Tešanj, Bosnien-Hercegovina. Det er et af de største historiske forsvarsværker i landet med et areal på 6.296 kvadratmeter. Slottet blev bygget i bronzealderen og blev senere forstærket af romerne, slaverne og osmannerne. I den osmanniske periode havde fæstningen en permanent garnison for den osmanniske hær. Slottet er sammensat af et citadel med et hovedtårn og en beskyttende mur, der omgiver det indre af middelalderbyen. Slottet er også hjemsted for tre museer, herunder et museumstårn, der viser udstillinger som det osmanniske tyrkiske flag fra slaget ved Mohacs og en præsentation af Tesanjs historie fra det 19. og 20. århundrede, herunder dets store personligheder som borgmesteren Hamdibey Ajanovic og den berømte politiker Zijad-bey Djonlagic. Efter at have besøgt Tesanj Slot, stopper vi til frokost på Kapija Grill House restaurant. Restauranten ligger nede ved Tesanj Slot og er kendt for sine lækre grillretter og hyggelige atmosfære. Srebrenik-fæstningen er en af de bedst bevarede middelalderborge i Bosnien-Hercegovina, der dateres tilbage til 1333. Fæstningen ligger på de nordøstlige skråninger af Majevica-bjerget i landsbyen Gornji Srebrenik, omkring 5 km fra byens centrum. Den er bygget på en stejl, næsten utilgængelig klippe med en dyb rende gravet nedenunder, hvor den eneste indgang er en lille bro. Slottet var besat af forbuddet i Bosnien, Stephen II Kotromanic, indtil hans død i 1353. Fæstningen har siden november 2004 været erklæret et nationalt monument i Bosnien-Hercegovina.
Tuzla er den tredjestørste by i Bosnien-Hercegovina og det administrative centrum af Tuzla-kantonen i Føderationen Bosnien-Hercegovina. Fra 2013 har det en befolkning på 110.979 indbyggere. Tuzla er det nordøstlige Bosniens økonomiske, kulturelle, uddannelsesmæssige, sundhedsmæssige og turistmæssige centrum.
Vjetrenica er den største grotte i Bosnien-Hercegovina og den mest biodiverse grotte i verden. Det er en del af bjergkæden Dinaric Alps, som er kendt for sine karstiske og speleologiske træk. Grotten ligger i Popovo-feltet i Ravno, Øst-Hercegovina i Føderationen Bosnien-Hercegovina.

This is my second tour with Adis, and the hospitality has always been fantastic. The experience really felt more like a good friend showing you around his country. He would interact with the local and purchase small souvenirs for us to support the local economy. We were provided with water and snacks throughout the trip and he kept us well informed at each site. These fortresses are definitely “hole in the wall” sites, which means no crowds whatsoever! I’d highly recommend this tour if you want good company and an interesting history lesson! The pictures at each site also did not disappoint.

The tour was very well put together. One of the best I have been on. Drinks were provided in the car, the car was clean and comfortable. The driving always felt safe. The tour never felt rushed and lots of facts about Bih was given. Adis was great, thank you for such a good trip.

OMG! This was the best tour of our entire trip! Adis was prompt, professional, and hilarious! We visited 3 castles and learned about the history of the places and how it tied into the greater Bosnian history. It felt like being on another planet how remote we were. Lunch was great and Adis made sure we were enjoying ourselves with so drinks and snack for the ride over. A long but amazing day I can't believe some of the places we visited. Must do!

The castles in Bosnia are fantastic. We traveled to three castles that were all unique and offered spectacular views. Adis, my tour guide, offers a very special experience to his guests by sending a drone up to video the experience. This was the first time I have been on a tour that was videoed via a drone….amazing experience!!

Wonderful tour, and Adis is a wonderful guide. He’s friendly, charming, and informative. You’ll get a chance to see the amazing countryside while touring castles as basically the only visitors. We enjoyed touring the two castles with our excellent guide. Because my wife and I were the only ones on this trip and we were suffering jet lag, we asked to cut the trip short and did not get to Sbrenica site.

It was the best trip we had in Bosnia. For lovers of history and medieval times this is a must have, all three fortresses show different types of architecture and style. We had a private your, so everything was tailored to suit us. There is plenty of time to see everything and enjoy it fully without rush. This was perhaps the greatest tour I've ever been on anywhere in the world for so many reasons. Firstly, these castles are absolutely stunning so well preserved and located on the summits of the beautiful Bosnian Mountains. Secondly and most importantly....the tour is planned and guided by Adis, an amazing man who is so knowledgeable and passionate and kind in how he shares and presents the most precious gems of his beautiful homeland....you will see stunning sights and learn the incredible history and stories hidden behind the walls of these incredible castles....this is a great tour for families people who love history and architecture or simply people who want to escape their daily routine and take in some beautiful sights
