Sapa Mountain Escape : 2 - Dagstur, Rice Terrasser & Homestay

Our guides name was Nhu. We found Nhu to be very kind and knowledgeable. The homestay was far better than we expected, with a room all to ourselves. The views were absolutely amazing on the first day, very misty on the second day but we still got to see two waterfalls and enjoy the bamboo forest. Would highly recommend this guided trek. We learned so much from Nhu.

We had the chance to make this trek with Nhu who quickly realized that we were trying to avoid other groups of tourists and that we were also very sporty, so she adapted the itinerary so that we could be alone as often as possible! We loved discovering its culture, history and the beautiful landscapes and villages we went through! We ate very well and the homestay where we were was perfect! The view of this trip was amazing. We trekked up to the mountain and village, and stayed overnight at a Hmong homestay with very nice rooms and friendly owners. Our guide was very kind, and we learned many things on this trip.

The 2-day, 1-night trekking trip was truly an amazing and meaningful experience. We had the chance to explore beautiful trails winding through the mountains, valleys, and local villages. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. One of the highlights of the journey was resting at a H'Mong homestay, which was a memorable experience. We shared a delicious meal and enjoyed a bowl of rice wine together, which was a delightful part of the trip. Our guide, Keyni, was not only professional but also deeply knowledgeable about the local culture. He shared many fascinating stories with us about life in this area, including legends and the role of shamans in the region. His storytelling made us appreciate and respect the unique cultural values of the place even more. This trip was not only an opportunity to explore nature but also a chance to learn about the people and history of this wonderful land.
