NIGHTMARE! The driver who was supposed to pick us up from the hotel arrived 1 hour late, then dropped us off at a gas station without saying a word. And then another guy came and asked us to wait inside the store, we waited about thirty minutes without explanation, it was so stressful especially when you don't understand Spanish. I tried to contact this site but they know nothing because they send service providers. I honestly advise against booking here; Saona Island is magnificent, we arrived with difficulty, I advise you to visit it but not with these people.

The Saona Island experience is amazing by the coordination, punctuality and professionalism experienced was sub-standard. Although the booking advised the pick up would be at 9:30am, a notification was sent at 12:26am on the day of advising they would pick us up at 7:00am. They did not arrive until 8:20. The boat transfer was chaotic and disorganized. The lunch provided included what seemed like Chef Boyaredee spaghetti with rice, dry chicken, pork steak and potato salad. We only stayed at the natural beach for 30 minutes. The return ride home included stopping at a souvenir shop that had already closed for the evening when we arrived. Hope this is not the standard but it was a rough experience.
Mediocre organization, the trip to Saona Island was endless: 5 hours from the start of the pickup. We came just for the island and left frustrated and impatient to finish. However, the island is magnificent and the natural pool is paradise; it was the consolation prize. It would be good to propose a faster route.

The island is magnificent; I have no regrets at all. The small buffet was also very nice. On the other hand, if you are looking to admire the landscapes in peace on the catamaran, this will not be your thing; the music was excessively loud, and we could not even hear each other speak. The organization was not great either, but I would say it is still worth doing once in a lifetime!

The experience itself, enjoying the island and the sacred pools, was lovely. However, the process of getting to the experience was extremely time consuming and slightly terrifying. Upon being picked up from our hotel one hour after the designated pick up time, we rode in a van that brought us down an abandoned alley. We then got out at a shopping center where we were told in broken English to “wait” with a group of people who did not speak English (all Spanish speakers). Twenty minutes later, we were crammed into a van with a very angry man who was our driver..he proceeded to scream into his phone in Spanish and look at his phone throughout our car ride, making every one in the vehicle visibly uncomfortable. About 2 hours later, after leaving the vehicle, we walked about 15 minutes, were gathered onto a catamaran, and THEN transferred to Lnin an extremely unorganized fashion. Though the catamaran team tried to make the experience fun with music and dancing, after waking up at 7 AM, the blaring music was somewhat unsettling/nauseating. Finally, we arrived at the island. It could have been a nice experience from there but as we were wrapping up and headed home, our “photographer”/guide essentially demanded that we pay for the subpar photos he took of use during the trip. Feeling somewhat obligated, we offer him $10, for which he took as just a tip for himself (this is after already tipping $20), and did not provide any photos in exchange. We didn’t arrive back at our hotel in Punta Cana until about 8 PM. The time spent getting to the island was just not worth the experience..skip it, especially if you only speak English.

Transport on time and very comfortable, Freudy is very friendly and the driver also, well organized, took us by catamaran back and forth, I advise to make the most of the time on the island because it is very short, we had a great time with my family of 10 people. Rich food. We also made the excursion of the buggies very entertaining recommend to bring clothes to launch or dark, water shoes, blocker, cap, glasses and his scarf for the face, there everything is more expensive, carry some money to buy drinks and buy the photos, without bags or towels to walk comfortable, also there are lockers in the ranch, they take you to a cave that fills a lot, is deep but rent life jackets at 2 dollars if you want to enter without knowing how to swim, I would have preferred more time at Macau beach that is beautiful, lasted in total 6hrs approx that excursion by picking up other guests to other hotels and pass to a souvenir shop. They made me very good price for both excursions.
