Skibet bliver der i 1 time og 15 minutter, og hvis du vil, kan du følge den lille sti for at nå toppen, hvor de aktive kratere er placeret. Der kan du tage billeder, se klipperne, der stadig ryger, og hvor det lugter kraftigt svovl.
Efter din tilbagevenden tilbage til skibet, tager vi afsted til øen Palaia Kameni, hvor de varme kilder er placeret, de berømte naturlige mudderbade, som er blevet skabt efter vulkanudbruddene. I den lille bugt St.Nickolas varierer vandtemperaturen fra 30 til 35 grader Celsius, da den konstant blander sig med det normale havvand. Skibet forbliver her omkring 30 minutter, og du har mulighed for at svømme. Det er noget tid siden der ikke er nogen strand, men du bør klatre ned af bådens trapper. Du skal svømme omkring 30 meter indtil det indre af den lille bugt ved de varme kilder.

It was pleasant being on the water and getting a sea view of the beautiful Santorini Coast. The ship was comfortable and had plenty of shade. Based on the previous reviews we did not go in the water at the hot springs nor did we walk to the volcano.

A lovely day overall! Just to give a heads up on a couple of things though-the boat leaves from Fira OLD PORT. This means u can only get there by cable car (there may be a line), donkeys or the pathway that is 900 steps going down. Also bring shoes appropriate for hiking the trail at the volcano ex sneakers-there is loose rocks and it can be slippery. We had a wonderful time though-a unique experience!

Reservation for an excursion with a French-speaking guide. The guide only spoke English and was quite indifferent.

Unfortunately, on that specific day, our French-speaking guide was ill with pneumonia. In our effort to avoid canceling your excursion at the last minute, we sent a replacement guide who did not speak French well. We appreciate your understanding regarding this unexpected situation.
Overall, a very nice tour that is worth it; the staff is super nice and friendly. However, the advertisement states a maximum of. 50 people, and there were 130 on board. I generally find that unacceptable and it feels like a scam.

Beautiful excursion, pity it is not offered in French, yet selected during my booking. The water was cold, so no swimming.

As for the water temperature, the Hot Springs are naturally mixed with the sea. Therefore, the warmth depends significantly on the sea temperature and the weather conditions at the time. This was a great experience. We enjoyed this excursion. Although the swim to the hot springs was a bit chilly (we went in April) it was still fun. Don't wear a white swimsuit though as the sulfur in the water will turn it orange/brown. The volcano was interesting and our guide was great. I think he also spoke 10 different languages fairly well. Well done!
