Bike was in excellent condition, check in was fast - but, for me anyway (as someone who had not experienced an e-bike previously), was too fast. The receptionist rushed through the bike features and I was thoroughly unprepared for the ride. Consequently at the steep ramp just prior to the bridge, I was unable to pedal and had to haul the heavy bike up the hill. He had omitted to tell me how the battery level affected the input from the pedals. As I say, I was impressed with the standard of the bike and, once i had figured out how the bike worked, really enjoyed the ride, the time in Sausalito and the ferry back. So I would recommend the service but just make sure you know how an electric bike works before you go!
I rented an electric bicycle. The rear brake squeaked. It was not the newest, but the service was quite good.
My teenage son and I decided on a Saturday afternoon to bike the shoreline and across the Golden Gate Bridge on a whim without reservation, and Blazing Saddles had plenty of bikes on hand to accommodate. We chose e-bikes which were fun and easy to operate (we were new to using them). Biking across the Golden Gate Bridge was one of the best experiences of my life, so thrilling and iconic, with magnificent views. The Blazing Saddles staff were knowledgeable, gave suggestions, and made sure we were comfortable with our helmets and bikes. Return was easy-peasy. 10 out of 10 experience!
Hired the electric bikes out for 4 hours which I would say was perfect.. easily enough time to get over to Sausalito and have a couple of hours there (beautiful place) and then ride back over the bridge again.. would highly recommend blazing saddles.. fantastic morning out and friendly service
Hands down THE BEST thing to do in San Francisco!!! Blazing Saddles makes renting bikes incredibly easy! We checked in and were on our bikes and out the door in under 10minutes. The bikes come with bags (to store a water bottle, fanny pack, etc), locks, and maps so you have everything you need for an incredible day. It's definitely worth the extra money to rent the electric bikes. San Francisco can be windy, especially when riding out to the Golden Gate, so you'll enjoy having the extra pedal power. We rented bikes with our teenagers and rode along the marina, over the Golden Gate to Sausalito, and they all had a blast. There are several parking garages nearby, which is nice because a lot of the parking in SF is limited to 2 hrs. Blazing Saddles is also centrally located, so it's a great start/end point for a fun day in the city. I used to live in San Francisco and biking around was always my favorite thing to do with friends who came into town. It was fun to do it with my kids. Blazing Saddles has been around for years so if you rent from them you're in good hands!
Excellent company, the bikes were great and the ride across the GG Bridge was amazing. This was one of our favorite adventures. Highly recommend!
Such an efficient pick up serivce and all staff were helpful and friendly. The route was simple to navigate, but downloaded the map on the app, which also gave a good tour as you rode along. Would highly recommend!
Great location solid bikes friendly staff! We did the San Fran to Sausalito ride in under 4 hours today with a small plate lunch. They have a location to leave your bike at once your cross into and down to the water.

We enjoyed this tour very much. We had great bikes and getting them was very easy. The staff was so nice, especially the girl who even spoke german. We can highly recommend booking with blazing saddles!
