Charmerende Coronado er en kort tur fra centrum af San Diego, men det føles som en verden væk! Vi vil slentre rundt i gaderne og se på huse med mange millioner dollars, smukt landskab, unik arkitektur og selvfølgelig stranden. Efter et hurtigt stop for en sød godbid fortsætter vi med at udforske denne strandby, der var hjemsted for kunstnere, flyvere og innovatører.

Vi vil udforske denne strandby og dykke ned i dens historie med kunstnere, flyvere og innovatører.
Fuld af hyggelige butikker og førsteklasses vinduesshopping starter vi vores tur i hjertet af Coronados centrum ved Rotary Park. Vi vil slentre hovedgaden og også gå væk fra den slagne vej for at udforske interessant arkitektur lige uden for Orange Avenue. Senere får vi en snack, inden vi kigger forbi en unik butik.
Etableret i 1890 stod denne klassiske genoplivningsbygning færdig i 1909. Vi lærer om manden, der finansierede den, arkitekten, der byggede den, og hvis den er åben, kigger vi ind.
Denne smukke gotiske kirke har smukt stenarbejde og smukke farvede glasvinduer.
Vi besøger et lokalt museum (afhængigt af tilgængelighed) for at se på artefakter og fotos, der bringer historierne om Coronados fortid og borgere til live.
Denne lille, cirkulære park er omgivet af smukke hjem og viser flag og udstyr, der oplyser Coronados militære fortid og nutid.

This was an amazing experience with Jennifer! I went with my mom and dad and we learned so much history and saw beautiful sights along all of Coronado! Jennifer is very knowledgeable and funny. It was a long walk but definitely don’t feel like it because you’re busy looking at the scenery! Thank you for this wonderful tour Jennifer see you next time!!
The guide, Jennifer, is all about providing excellent customer service. She gives young helpful information to get you to and from the tour. Great historical and cultural narrative is given along with practical info as to restrooms, food, and shopping. Along the way and at the end great suggestions are provided as to what the rest of your day/vacation. We are repeat customers!

This tour featured interesting architecture, historical anecdotes, and the best of Coronado all in an entertaining and well-paced experience. We even stopped along the way for gelato! Jennifer knows a lot about the rich history of the area and was also very attentive to those of us on the tour. Would highly recommend.

Jennifer was knowledgeable, funny, and very kind for our party of two. The tour includes a gelato stop which is not only delicious but a great rest time. We enjoyed seeing the sights of Coronado that were off the beaten path. Great way to experience the island (not an island) by foot!

This was a great experience for our annual girls trip. Jennifer was a fantastic guide (quite funny too) as she showed us around the Coronado peninsula. Very knowledgeable. As a group of 10 we booked a private tour - still very affordable. Be prepared for a lot of walking - but well worth it. There's also a great gelato break! Really got the insiders point of view about Coronado!
