I had the most incredible time with Farrux in Samarkand, and Mirzo made the organization seamless and easy. I booked the day trip to Samarkand from Tashkent. Mirzo organized everything from the hotel pickup, to the train, to the excellent itinerary, and guide. Farrux provided a full day of excellent sight seeing and history. The entire day was well planned, focusing on all of Samarkand’s must see sights. Not to mention a delicious lunch. I had a couple niche requests and Mirzo+Farruz helped make them a reality, it really made my trip. I would recommend this tour to anyone looking for a great way to experience Samarkand. The city has so many places to see, that a guide is really necessary. Thank you both Mirzo and Farrux for a great experience.
We were very lucky to have Farruch as our guide in Samarkand. He gave us a warm welcome at the main train station and won us over from the very beginning with his friendly manner. Throughout the entire tour, he accompanied us with fascinating stories – it was extremely interesting to listen to him. Farruch knows Samarkand inside and out, his expertise is outstanding, and he really showed us every significant sight. He took his time everywhere, looked after us, and made sure that we felt comfortable and safe. The impressions during the tour were also incredible and will stay in our memories for a long time. Beautiful tour to get to know Samarkand, rich in history, everything perfect, the train reservation, as soon as we arrived we were welcomed by our guide Farrux, I must spend a few words for him who transported us with his knowledge of the history of Samarkand, he made us have a beautiful experience, a good lunch with local specialties.
We booked this tour from Tashkent to Samarkand. Everything was well organised. Mirzo took us to the train and Farrux met us in the other end. Communications were excellent. Farrux is very professional and knowledgeable and friendly too.He is excellent and recommends him as your guide if you visit Samarkand. We recommend this tour as a must to do.
Great tour to Samarkand from Tashkent, the tour was arranged well, from hotel pickup, train ride, Samarkand local tour the hotel drop-off. The local guide in Samarkand “Farrux” did a great job in showing me around all the sites and told the historical background and stories as well as patiently answering all my questions. Really recommend the tour and also local guide Farrux to other traveling planning a day trip to Samarkand from Tashkent.
Organizer arranged everything: * train tickets * hotel pick-up in the morning and drop-off in the evening * Samarkand local guide, Farrux, greeted me right after I stepped off the train and took care of everything, including a delicious lunch, until I was back to the train station for the train back to Tashkent. * Saw some glorious Islamic architectures and learned more about the glorious history of a great Central Asian empire. * a couple of hours might be too short to fully experience Samarkand but overall I had a good day-trip with this tour.
An excellent day out, we learnt so much about the history of Samarkand, and our guide was great, very patient, helped us take loads of photos, and took us to a lovely spot for lunch. Can highly recommend! This is a great tour!
I had an absolutely incredible time on this tour with my guide Farrukh. He showed me around all the main sites of Samarkand. I especially love learning about history, culture, and architecture and Farrukh shared so many insights and knowledge about Uzbekistan and its culture that it made my experience that much richer. The entire process was very convenient especially with the high speed rail tickets. I had a wonderful experience overall. I can't recommend this tour more to anyone who wants to explore Samarkand in just a day - especially a hot one (the AC was super helpful!)
