A wonderful trip! Balazs our tour guide was great. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Vienna, all the areas we visited, and shared lesser known interesting tidbits of information. The trip didn’t feel rushed, there was plenty of time at all 4 markets to look around, taste many treats, buy souvenirs, and of course collect the coveted Christmas market cups. In Salzburg we had a separate guide who was also very good and very accommodating to the groups’ needs. I definitely recommend this tour and Balazs as your guide.
We rely enjoyed the our day trip from vienna to Salzburg. The ride was comfortable and we enjoyed the commentary about the sites we were passing on the way. The walking tour in Salzburg was fun and informative and at a good pace. We loved the Christmas markets on the trip too! Our guide was accommodating, friendly and professional.
We travelled from Vienna by train to Salzburg. The journey was about 2 1/2 hours long. The markets were beautiful and the decorations around the streets was just very magical. Well worth the visit. The stalls were lovely and the food stalls were good as well. Salzburg was beautiful by the river.
Peter was an excellent tour guide. In addition to Salzburg we traveled thru the Lake District, St. Gilgen and St. Wolfgang. Definitely worth checking out these villages too. In Salzburg our walking tour guide was Sissi (Elizabeth). She was fantastic. Her knowledge of the city’s history (and the Sound of Music) made for a great day.
