My boyfriend and I wanted a quick taste of the Salkantay trail without committing a whole week. The climb up to the pass on day 1 takes grit, but standing under that massive peak is something we'll never forget. Transport pickups were on point and our guide made sure everyone stayed safe during the steep descent. Pro tip: pack thermal base layers for sleeping!
wild 2 days in the Andes. glacier views are 100x better in person. guide was a total rockstar and brought us hot coca tea directly to our tents in the morning. break in your boots before doing this or you'll regret it haha!
Took my 21yo daughter on this 2-day trek. It's a demanding walk, so make sure you're properly acclimated in Cusco first! Logistics were handled really well, from hotel pickup to mountain meals and tent arrangements. Watching the stars at night away from all city lights was magic. 10/10 mountain experience.
There were moments when I questioned my decision to hike , especially on the harder sections, but then I would look around and remember why I was there. The views were absolutely worth the effort.

We experienced four seasons in just 48 hours! It started with warm sunshine, turned into a freezing wind at the pass, and ended with misty cloud forests. Our guides were incredible at managing the group through the changing conditions. The hot coca tea they provided first thing in the morning was a lifesaver. If you take this 2D1N tour, dress in layers and bring a high-quality rain jacket. The logistics, transport from Cusco, and food were all top-tier.
The group size was perfect, and our bilingual guide was not only knowledgeable about Inca history but also great at bringing everyone together. The views of Mount Salkantay are humbling. It’s a fast-paced hike, but it gives you a massive sense of achievement by the end.
