Denne halvdagstur i byen vil vise dig den rige mangfoldighed i byen med dejlige strande, moské, frugtfarme og markeder. Det første sted vil være Sultan Qaboos Moské. Næste stop er Haffa Souq - et traditionelt marked, der sælger parfume, tøj, souvenirs og den berømte Frankincense, på bredden af Haffa Beach, med hvid sandstrand og kokostræer. Souq ligger i Haffa Beach (stranden kan ses fra souq og ikke som et separat stop). Næste stop er halwa smagsstoppested, hvor du kan smage den lokale omani halwa - safran, date, honning og nødder smag og købe at tage hjem som en gave. Se gården af banan, kokos og papaya ved næste stop. Dette sted har kaffe og te butik, et godt sted at sidde og observere gården. Der er en lille gåbane i gården. Det sidste stop er Salalah Grand Mall, det største indkøbscenter i Salalah. Forskellige butikker til parfume, tøj og mad, caféer og departementale butikker til shopping. Se lokale og kultur.

Booked this experience with a guide in English, we found myself and my husband alone with a bus of Poles. Picked up punctually at our hotel with a Polish guide, by bus he only continued to speak Polish even though he spoke perfect English. Arriving at the mosque we found Ahmed there who guided us inside. Then we got back in the bus and were taken to the souk and when we asked Mis Anna how long we could stay she replied to turn to Ahmed. Who just arrived with his car was sent back to the mosque because someone had left something there 🙀 So for us no explanation in English!!! Then another stop without understanding what we could do In the end Ahmed took us with His Car So Ahmed very kind person Ms Anna absolutely unprofessional

We travelled during EID so many places were closed. We did get to go to Mosque, ride by beach and ride by souk. We also rode by the palace.

Interesting tour but the mosque was closed to tourists because of Ramadan. The tomb of the prophet Ayub (Job for Christians) has puzzled us a little ... We expected something bigger! Visiting the souks and other shops allows to finalize the purchase of his souvenirs ... The Museum of Incense explains the history of this culture.

It was a very interesting and very informative half-day city tour accompanied by Rashid - the nicest, most helpful and engaged tour guide we could have.
