Sample a wide range of sake in a relaxed environment
We had a 2hr session with Hawaiian Joe. This was a fun way to experience a wide range of sake profiles. Joe is knowledgeable about the sake manufacturing process and in the profiles and flavours of sake.
During the class we sampled them at different temperatures, with snacks, and by combining different sake together. There are a few slides which are interesting to explore the sake process but it's not a lecture.
We sampled about 10 different bottles of sake in total to help understand the different features each sake can bring.

Sake tasting was amazing!!
Tadashi’s tour is so much fun, and he has an incredible amount of knowledge! He explains everything from how sake is made to the best way to enjoy it. You can learn so much while having a really good time!

The Absolute Best Sake Experience with Tadashi!
Tadashi was the absolute best host! He explained the differences between the sakes in a way that was super easy to understand and really fun. Even though I’m Japanese, I don't usually drink much, so I had a blast learning so much about sake.

Best sake experience!!! Hawaii Joe was the best - answering all our questions, teaching us about sake making and giving us the best tasting ever. And his English was amazing for us tourists

Hawaii Joe is the best
Amazing experience with sake! I drank sake before hand and my wife did not, and both of us learned so much! Hawaii Joe was fantastic for teaching us how to mix sake with food and other sake. Would absolutely recommend!

Wonderful
I won’t lie, I was v hungover and I had the fear. We turned up and honestly, amazing. Meghan was terrific, a joy to spend time with just so much fun, and I left feeling happy and energised. Absolutely recommend.

Hawaii Joe is an amazing guide
It wasn't like I was taking over Hawaii Joe's textbook, but the lessons were really easy to understand, really helpful, and so clear, and I really enjoyed them!!!!
Participating in Hawaii Joe's sake tasting will be the best experience!
