Rundvisning i Sassi of Matera, indgang til hulehuset og klippekirken

Beskrivelse

Our Italian relatives were very excited about going on a tour of Matera as it a place that is an historical site that has been on their bucketlist for years. We both booked at the same time in the morning & we discovered that when we booked it that the same Italian tour was 50% less than the english tour. Fair enough, we know as tourists that we get ripped off but hoping that the tours were both similar. Our tour guide, Lorenza who was an also an anthropologist gave us hope that our tour would go over the majority of the history & the places in & around Matera. Our tour finished off early & then we waited for our relatives for another 45 minutes to finish off their tour. When we compared notes of the two tours over lunch, we diacovered that our tour guide skipped over 2 sites & a lot less information wasn't passed along to us than our relatives had recieved. Everybody has their bad days but i feel like we were shortchanged on our tour.
Stunning...especially Giusy...professional and fun....a magic experience
The tour lasted just over two hours. A very skilled guide who, during the tour provided, allowed us to learn about the characteristics of Matera. A city that has so much to tell and where there is so much to discover.
We did the tour in italian with Giusy who was very good. At 15 euro its strongly recommended
Competent tourism agency with a local guide who accompanied us and is knowledgeable about the history of the Sassi of Matera
Giusi, an extraordinary guide in a charming place.
Tour of the stones with a small group. Great ease of booking and the guide (Giusy) was really friendly and knowledgeable: she made the walk not only educational but also fun. The tour included a meeting with Vincenzo, one of the last elders of the old community, who is a storyteller.
We visited the stones with Pasquale, who immediately captured our attention with historical and tourist-interest information. It was a stop on a return trip, with the promise to return and visit the entire city, of course with the help of Pasquale, from whom the love for the city shines through.
Visit that was very enjoyable, with clear and thorough explanations. Giusi is very skilled and professional, with a bit of friendliness that never hurts.
Fantastic experience, thanks to Pasquale our guide!
