Jagt efter nordlyset fra Rovaniemi med en lokal Vejleder, der jager klare himle i stedet for at køre til et fast udsigtspunkt - støttet af en 100% pengene tilbage garanti, hvis lyset ikke vises, plus gratis professionelle billeder af dig under lyset. Hver eftermiddag læser vi skydækningen og solprognosen, og beslutter derefter, hvor vi skal køre den aften. Nogle nætter er Aurora 20 minutter væk; nogle nætter kører vi tre timer for at finde et hul i skyer. Derfor kører vores ture 5-8 timer, ikke en fast tre. To måder at rejse på: Small Group (max 19) i en minibus med hotel pickup, eller Group Bus Tour (max 47) med opvarmet bus fra centrum af Rovaniemi. Vejlederen fotograferer dig under auroraen med professionel udstyr og sender dig billederne gratis – uden vandmærke, uden opsalg. Klæd dig varmt: vintertøj er ikke inkluderet (udlejning er tilgængelig i byen). Der serveres varme drikkevarer, men ingen måltider er inkluderet. Familiedrevet, fra Rovaniemi. Vores guider kører disse veje hele året rundt og ved, hvor de klare himle sidder.

Afrejse. Rejsende i små grupper afhentes fra deres indkvartering i Rovaniemi; Bus Tour rejsende mødes i byens centrum. Inden vi tager af sted, gennemgår Vejlederen døgnets skygge og aurora-forspørgsel og forklarer, hvor vi er på vej hen og hvorfor. I slutningen af natten bliver du kastet tilbage på det samme sted.
Aurora jagter sig selv. Vejlederen læser live skydedækning, solaktivitet og vejforhold og kører mod den klareste himmel - nogle gange 20 minutter fra Rovaniemi, nogle gange langt forbi den arktiske cirkel. Vi stopper ved mørke udsigtspunkter væk fra byens lys, serverer varme drikkevarer, og din Vejleder fotograferer dig under nordlyset med professionel kameraudstyr. Billederne sendes til dig gratis efter turen.

Afhentningssteder og tider
Small Group Tour: Vi afhenter dig fra dit ophold i Rovaniemi. Pickup-tiderne bekræftes altid separat på turen, senest kl. 15. Busstur: Afgang er fra busstoppestedet ved siden af Pub Uitto på Korkalonkatu 23, Rovaniemi, på det tidspunkt, der vises på din billet. Vi bekræfter den nøjagtige afgangstid ved 13:00 på dagen for turen. Hvis vejret er for dårligt til at køre turen, annullerer vi og informerer dig omkring middag samme dag.

Went with Dennis and he was the best guide one could get. We’d gone with booklapland previously and not been able to experience the auroras clearly, so we tried again with these guys. Dennis was our guide and he left no stone unturned to make sure we had the most full filling experience. Reason I say this is - at around 10:30 PM we saw the auroras right outside of Rovaniemi. They were vivid, colourful and alive. However, there was still some light pollution given our proximity to the city. We all assumed the trip was over and that we were heading home. But Dennis had other plans. He continued to drive us up north to a less light polluted place and with some patience and luck at 2 AM we once again saw the auroras do their dance in all glory! It was absolutely magical. One of the best experiences of my life. As for Dennis - he didn’t need to drive us an extra 3h anywhere post the first aurora sightings, but he did. He’s dedicated and definitely looks up to his responsibility. Would recommend him every single time!
We had an incredible experience with Dennis! He put in a lot of effort to make sure we could see the Northern Lights, and it truly paid off. We were lucky to witness the aurora dancing across the sky — such a magical and breathtaking view that we’ll remember forever. I highly recommend experience tours.. we book with them first day we couldn 't see the lights .. they gave us option to rebook or reschedual , we went other day it was the best aurora ever ! The guide Annie and micka and sampa was so professional , they keep driving till we saw it , they were so friendly and they took us the best photos , best experience ever #Thankyou
This review has nothing to do with what we saw but the experience of the trip itself. The good: the tour guide spoke excellent english, very friendly and patient.They picked us up on time. The bad: 9 hours trip with one bathroom break, the vehicle has zero suspension and people seated in the back felt all the bumps; driver kept going from side to side and made the ride very uncomfortable; The ugly: this was a road side experience with trucks and cars passing by at high speed every couple seconds which spoiled the experience. They didn’t take us to an open field or shielded area from light pollution from traffic. To note that weather was not favourable and they did their best to find the lights barely noticeable lights, if we weren’t told they are there we wouldn’t have known. Camera definitely picks up better than the naked eye. That being said, had we known what the experience will be we would have not wasted money, energy and time.
I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Northern Lights hunting tour on March 2nd! Even though I was part of a large group tour (7:00 PM), the entire evening felt well-organized and professional. Our guide was fantastic—knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about finding the best views for us. They went above and beyond to make sure everyone was comfortable and took the time to capture professional photos of the group under the lights, which is such a great bonus. Standing out there watching the aurora was a highlight of my trip. If you are looking for a reliable team to take you out into the wild to find the lights, I can’t recommend these guys enough! We highly recommend the Northern Light Tour of Experience Tour and the guide Dennis We are a family of 4 from Hong Kong joining the Northern Light Tour on 14 Feb Our guide, Dennis, is very patient, thoughtful and caring. He is more than a guide and is a real expert of Norhern Light hunting When we checked the Aurora app on 14 Feb, it showed that the chance of seeing Northern Light is 0% as the weather us really cloudy We prepared for seeing nothing though it is the main purpose for us to visiting Rovaniemi Dennis kept checking different information (weather report, upcoming intensity of Northern Light etc) He final found a perfect spot (a very wide area with only our tour around) for aurora hunting and luckily we made it!! The aurora was insane and basically best of the best!! What’s more Dennis was very professional with camera brought and we had taken a lot of beautiful pictures. Despite the freezing weather (-30 degree), he didn't stop helping us take photos. Dennis is absolutely the best guide I have ever met We really had a great time and we highly recommend you guys to give this a shot!! U will definitely be amazed:)) I am here to give again our deepest thanks to Experience Tour and Dennis for offering us such an extraordinary tour
It was a lot of fun. The guides were very friendly and drove us to Sweden looking for the Northern Lights. I really enjoyed the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Spring tour.
We saw the northern lights pretty early on. I was on my own, but two of my guides were kind to me and it was a fun tour
