I booked and paid for this transportation months before my travel date (I think 6 + months before). I confirmed with them the pick up location and time multiple times because no where on the ticket does it state the time (even though I provided it) messaging the help did confirm the pick up time but as the day got closer (I got nervous because I wasn’t receiving a reminder and confirmation as I had on all my previous transfers with other companies). I then got a message via email asking for pick up time and pickup location which had been provided again multiple times and confirmed with their company) I received additional emails throughout the day to contact them and I returned their emails with response then I reached out to the Viator support and they contacted the company for me and confirmed my pick up time and address for to next day. A few hours later 1130 at night the company messaged me asking to contact them again with the WhatsApp. I attempted to contact them but never received a response. The morning of pickup they messaged me and told me they had to cancel my shuttle (what??? I confirmed less then 12 hours earlier). I needed a ride to the port (1.5 hour transfer from Rome to the cruise port). One stressor became realty. Very poor company communication! Very poor. I gave this company a 2 star because they refunded my money at least immediately and then “found” another driver to pick us up and transfer us to the port But I again had to pay for this transfer. The driver from the alternate company did show up on time but spoke very little English, was driving an older beat up merecedes class vehicle with Uber written on the side. He was wearing Jammie pants and an oversized t-shirt. I’m surprised we made it to the port alive. Multiple times he slammed on the brakes and had to swerve to avoid other vehicles. And multiple times we had to pick up our belongings off the floor after they went flying. Suitcases also hit the back of the chairs and windows. This was not my style of “Luxury transportation”

Driver was a little late. But very nice and welcoming. We had a a nice relaxing comfortable ride to the port.

Our driver was on time and waiting for us at the ship. The car was clean. It was so easy to get door to door. We had four people and 8 bags that fit fine.

Communication was extremely poor. Tried multiple times to change pick up time, never got confirmed. Day of trip we had no clue if we were getting picked up, called and was told their system was down, someone hung up on me, called again still could not confirm we were being picked up. Requested refund As we were booking an uber the driver finally arrived, he was very nice and professional. When we were in the car got a call about why we requested a refund, they didnt have any problem reaching out once they had to refund. Never again to trip advisor!
hello, you originally booked for 11.30 , than one day before you wanted to change for 10.30,which we did not confirmed as the van left the port at 9 am , you were picked up at 11.10 , you never called , but called viator to ask for a refund ,i don t understand why the bad review mrs Karen Konig ??? our number is well displayed in the booking, you never called , but you called viator instead
Driver was great the van clean and new. We had to contact the provider when they didn't show up as we exited the cruise ship and waited about 30 mins. We contacted them and they were on site in about 30 mins more so no issue. He explained that TripAdvisor is sending them the bookings in the wrong order so they didnt see ours that had been booked about 90 days ago.

Wow! This was definitely the way to go. With so many people getting off the cruise ship, it was reassuring to know that we had a ride. The pick up was quick and easy and we were on our way.

Our cruise pickup driver back to Rome was outstanding! He was highly responsive, always communicating clearly about pickup times and locations. His punctuality and friendly demeanor made transfers seamless and stress-free. Highly recommend!
