Our guide was extremely kind and knowledgeable. However, there was miscommunication about what the tour was. We signed up for a food tour and we had our first taste 75 minutes into the tour. We purposely scheduled this to be interactive for kids (and I shared our ages and intentions for the tour), and given that it was a private tour it seemed like it could be tailored to our family. He is a great guy, but it was not what we signed up for.
Carlo was an incredible guide. Knowledgeable, kind, and gave us a real locals view of the City. Great food, many things we would have never found on our own. Highly recommend!!

Our tour with Gabrielle was great. He was informative, great personality and a lot of fun. We would highly recommend him.
Educational and delicious! Carlo took us around the neighborhood with special spots along the way. Aside from the eateries, he helped explain historical backgrounds of the local area and told us the significance of each specialty dish! Every tasting was much bigger than expected so come with an empty stomache! We are so much by the end we couldn’t even finish, but our guide was nice enough to help eat! Come hungry and leave happy!
This private food tour was an absolute highlight of our time in Rome. The food was incredible—every stop offered something delicious and authentic, and we left completely satisfied (and very full!). Our guide, Rhianne, was fantastic. She was not only knowledgeable about the food and its origins, but also shared great insights into the local history and neighborhoods we explored along the way. It added so much depth to the experience. The tour felt well-paced, personalized, and truly worth the price. If you’re looking for a fun and delicious way to experience Rome, this is a must-do—especially with Rhianne as your guide!
Leonardo was excellent. Very charming and generous with his time, knowledge and expertise. Our tour was on a Sunday afternoon and some of the places we visited were crowded with long lines - not Leonardo’s fault but it would have been nice to have a “fast lane” for tours. The food was excellent and we experienced local cuisine that we would not normally have tried or known about. Honestly not a great value for the money (we did a tour in Genoa that included wine and several waters) but I’m glad we did it and really liked Leonardo.
Elisa was very knowledgeable and we tasted food and walked through areas around that I had not previously visited it was great
Simone was an excellent guide - interesting, knowledgeable, and patient with two super jet lagged customers (us). Despite our low energy levels we had THE BEST day exploring Rome with him. Learned a lot and ate delicious food. Great experience!!
As with any food tour there is a LOT of walking, but there is also a LOT of eating! We had everything from 3 types of pasta to gelato to coffee and cannolis to porchetta to pizza and more! Our guide was great! Informative and funny. Of course, it rained through the entirety of our tour, but that didn’t deter any of us. I highly recommend this tour!
