Our tour guide David was amazing. He was born and raised in Rome. He is very knowledgeable and a great driver of the golf cart. He showed us many sites and gave us many stories about each historical site. He took us on some back roads and showed us some things that normal tourists would not be able to see. He took us to the best gelato shop in town and it was excellent. I would highly recommend David and Rome in a golf cart

A great way to see the sites in a condensed timeframe. Our guide Calipo was extremely knowledgeable and moved at a pace that fit out family. Flexible tour allowed us to customize the amount of time we wanted to spend at preferred locations. Great family friendly tour. Would recommend to anyone.

During a stopover in Rome on 27 June 2026, my husband and I enjoyed a wonderful three-hour golf cart tour, Rome in Golf Cart, exploring many of the city’s historic landmarks. Our delightful driver and guide, Alex, met us at the piazza outside the Anantara Hotel, beside the beautiful Fountain of the Naiads. From there, we wound our way through Rome’s charming streets and hidden alleys, passing many of its iconic sights, including the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, Villa Borghese and its beautiful gardens, the Roman Forum, and Circus Maximus, to name just a few. Alex’s passion for the history of this remarkable city was evident throughout the tour. His knowledge was exceptional, and he brought Rome’s rich past to life with fascinating stories and insights. He was also a very safe driver, professional, thoughtful, and a pleasure to spend time with. If you’re looking for an enjoyable and comfortable way to experience the highlights of Rome, especially if walking long distances is difficult, I would highly recommend this tour.
