You see all the sights in a few hours! Our driver was very knowledgeable but really needs a microphone as its hard to hear him! He was amazing, very kind helpfully and we would recommend him no doubts!
No show. We waited for 15 minutes and got notification of full refund. So at least that was good. The app will not let you leave a short review. So if you want details of this disaster, here they are. My family and me were very disappointed. Do better next time.
Giorgio and Alessandro were true professionals that comfortably showed us the beautiful city of Rome. We covered all the highlights we wanted to see. We stopped several times for the perfect photo ops with the drivers helping take pictures of our group of nine. Included in our stops were four secret spots with low congestion with spectacular views. Our drivers knew the history and educated us through out the trip. And not to forget the gelato and espresso stop. We highly recommend this experience for families and especially with our two drivers ciao!
Karim was an excellent guide. He called me a few minutes ahead of our scheduled pick up time to inform me that he is arriving on time. He welcomed us aboard his large golf cart that comfortably fit six of us. As we started the tour, he asked some probing questions about our stay and what we wanted to see. Since we only had one day in Rome before our cruise, he wanted to schedule the tour accordingly to see all the major highlights. We started at the Colosseum where he treated us to gelato and coffee while we took pictures from an adjacent view. We did not have time to go inside, but he gave us a brief overview and some fun facts while taking many pictures for us. We then proceeded to several other major sights like the Trevi Fountain, Circus Maximus, Spanish Steps, Roman Forum, Pantheon, St Peter's Basilica, and many other sights along the way. At each stop, he tried to get as close to the sight as possible to minimize the walking for my elderly parents. He took time to explain the sight and took many pictures for us as a family. Karim definitely helped us see the most of Rome in the short time we had. At the end of the tour, Karim was kind enough to drop us off at a restaurant in Rome while also taking the time to drive my parents back to the hotel as a courtesy. Karim was very kind, informative, and an excellent guide. I highly recommend the tour with Karim.
Valentin was absolutely brilliant! His English was perfect and he was very kind and patient with my elderly Mother. His knowledge of the sites was excellent. Thank you for a wonderful tour.
Great way to see a lot of Rome in the cool of the night. They were very accommodating to our schedule and the needs of my special needs son
The tour didn’t happen as the tour operator never showed up! I tried calling and messaging that day and a few days before to confirm the pickup location. I contacted Viator who were also unable to contact the tour operator. We were only in Rome for 48 hours and this was supposed to be one of the highlights so I am very frustrated at a total waste of precious holiday time, not to mention money. I will not use Viator again - I feel scammed.
The vendor did not show up, despite my repeatedly trying to contact them. Viator also attempted to reach them by phone but received no response. Eventually, they sent a message with an excuse, but only after we had already been left waiting. Fortunately, I was able to secure a last-minute backup booking, although it cost me an additional €100. I asked the vendor to reimburse this extra expense, but they stopped responding entirely. Things can go wrong in any business, and most customers understand that. What matters is how you handle the situation. In this case, there was a complete lack of communication, accountability, and integrity. A business that prioritizes collecting payments over honoring its commitments and treating customers fairly is unlikely to earn long-term trust or success.This keeps the criticism strong and credible while avoiding personal attacks that could weaken the impact of your review.
Claudio was our very impressive driver/guide. He amazed of with his knowledge of the history of Rome. He also navigated through busy traffic by using small side streets and alleys. He was prompt and greeted us at our hotel (even one that was not on the trip advisor form) Our only negative on this experience was he was driving an ancient cart which made a terrible noise when backing up or when we were forward! The cart itself was very uncomfortable with very little cushioning or padding in the seats. I know Claudio did his best but that cart should not be on the road!! Another point, it would helpful to have a microphone or quiet vox to hear all the comments from Claudio….
