I was really looking forward to this sunset sailing experience, but unfortunately it was disappointing. The water was extremely rough, and many passengers, myself included, became severely seasick and ended up vomiting. Given the conditions, I think the excursion should have been canceled, especially since other water activities in the area were canceled that day due to the weather. Because of the constant motion, I wasn't able to enjoy the light dinner or the open bar, which are a big part of what you're paying for. To make matters worse, heavy rain started toward the end of the trip. I understand that weather is unpredictable, but the conditions made it impossible to enjoy the experience. I would not recommend this excursion if similar sea conditions are expected.
Cancún Adventures team are amazing people and dedicated to making your experience the best it can be. From the moment you meet the team you feel safe and comfortable with friends. This was a lovely evening with great drinks, good snacks and comfortable conversation with other visitors enjoying the same experience! Highly recommend you jump on the chance to add this to your trip and vacation memories !!!
Very friendly, attentive drinks were always flowing,not too crowded, hotel pickup right on time. Highly recommend this trip
It's not worth it; the only good thing is the resorts. The beaches are much better in the Balearic Islands, and the tips are a nightmare. The prices are European; I don't understand how they can live like that. I think they take us for fools.

This was such a great group of people.. we recommend this company.. the snorkeling wasn’t great because of weather, but all the staff make it feel like inviting and secure.. Jose and the group were excellent in answering all the questions.. thank you for a great time!!

We have been coming to the Talum and Play Del Carmen area for years. The last two times we booked a sunset cruise they cancelled on us just before the trip. Each time that day it was not safe and each time the weather was perfect. You cannot depend on these guys at all!!!!!

While weather may appear favorable from shore, sailing operations are subject to decisions made by the Port Authority based on marine conditions, wind, currents, and other safety factors that may not be visible from land. Booked twice as first booking I was sent notice the day before it was being cancelled. I rebooked for another night to propose, and received notification that it was not being allowed to operate by the Port Authority . Huge scam, won’t allow refund only to rebook for another time. Don’t waste your time or money on this specific Viator managed excursion.

Picked up from our hotel at 4pm. Boat departed at 5:30 and returned at 7:30. Didn’t get back to our hotel until 9:50pm. 4 hours total spent in a van…. For a 2 hour excursion. This was probably the worst experience of all time and I’m thinking about cancelling other excursions I have planned because this one went so terribly wrong.
