En unik måde at lære byens urbane kunstneriske liv at kende, en mulighed for at lære endnu et Rio de Janeiro at kende ved strandene i Copacabana. Lær også arkitekturen og transformationen af landets tidligere hovedstad at kende, forstå hvordan Carioca-livsstilen blev født. En enkel måde at integrere byen på uden at føle sig som en turist og en simpel elsker af kunst. Hvert område af byen har en anden kultur, og byens centrum er hvor alle kulturer mødes.

Vi tager metroen til Glória-kvarteret, der starter vi vores tur med at overveje den første legaliserede graffiti i Rio, derefter vil vi se den europæiske arkitektoniske indflydelse i byen Rio; forbi Selaron-trappen; vi tog sporvognen til etinia panelet (det største graffiti vægmaleri i verden.) og endte på morgendagens museum
Lad os tage til det tredje mest besøgte turiststed i byen, Selarón-trappen.
I cinelandia er det sted, hvor vi vil se de vigtigste biblioteker og byens hovedteater. Og så tager vi VLT (offentlig transport) til Olympic Boulevard.
Vi ankom til Olympic Boulevard, som er hjemsted for byens vigtigste museer.
Vi afslutter vores tur i Porto Maravilha, hvor du møder verdens største graffitimaleri.

Great tour in the old town of Rio with excellent guide (Wellington) in a small group. On foot and by tram. The guide gave us a lot of valuable information and showed us the best places with street art far away from mass tourism. Really impressive. Graduation from Escadaria Selaron in the tourist hubbub... Very worthwhile. Anytime again!

A most enjoyable few hours with our guide Wellington, viewing street art in Rio. Saw a lot of things we’d never have found on our own. As well as putting the artwork in context he told us a lot about the history of the city, politics, architecture, Carnival & Samba schools. Felt it was much more informative & got a much better insight into the city than sitting on a coach having things pointed out. We finished our tour at the rainbow stairs, where Wellington pointed out a few of his favourite places to eat & as a result we finished off with a really fab lunch amongst locals. Highly recommended.

Wellington gave an outstanding tour. He clearly explained the significance of the graffiti murals and architectural elements.His tour was quite comprehensive and included many different neighborhoods and artistic styles. I really enjoyed my experience in “Little Africa”. He had extensive knowledge of the to social and political issues related to specific art pieces. Wellington speaks excellent English and even gave me a chance to practice my portuguese! I highly recommend Wellington’s tour to anyone interested in street art, architecture, murals and afro-Brazilian culture.
