Se det land, hvor Lord of the Rings trilogien blev filmet. Efter en gratis hotel afhentning, vil du ankomme og møde din helikopter pilot. Du vil flyve langs Shotover River, over bjergkæden fra den første scene i The Two Towers på vej til landing på en gletscher ved siden af Misty Mountains og få en fornemmelse af, hvordan det kan være at krydse The Redhorn Pass. Du vil gå over til Glenorchy via Dart Valley og Mt Earnslaw for at se de naturlige funktioner, du måske bedre genkender som Isengard, Amon Hen og Lothlorien. Denne 70 minutters udflugt afsluttes med en køretur tilbage til dit hotel i Queenstown.

This was a great first helicopter tour for us. Jeremy was an excellent pilot! He rotated us through the cabin so that all of us had chances to see views from the front and different sides of the helicopter. The view of the mountain ridges and the glaciers were some of the most incredible things we have ever seen.

Great experience and amazing scenery - our first helicopter ride. Improvements could be made tho in sound quality as both of us heard very little of what the pilot said during the trip, which was a LOTR trip with a pilot who worked there during filming, so that communication was to be part of what we paid for as we're huge LOTR fans. And we got very very little of that. Addl - don't know if headphones are sanitized between rides, but each of us wore 3 different ones during the trip, so if someone had communicate disease issues, it was certainly passed around through handling and wearing of those. Pilot was almost too professional/aloof -and was clock watching - too keep on schedule I'm sure - but we were delayed before taking off and he was visibly upset by that

The views were INSANE! It was a truly magical experience. We had Jeremy as our pilot and he was amazing. I didn't feel nervous at all. A must do as long as you aren't afraid of heights. Plus, landing on the glacier was an experience of a lifetime.

The team were all so friendly and attentive. You are looked after from the point of booking to when you arrive. The flight was amazing and the pilot is very knowledgeable. He found the best spots to land in order to maximise the views and very happy to take photos of our family. The stop on the glacier will be a lifetime memory.

Excellent pre flight communication and seamless check-in! Overall flight experience exceeded expectations!!! Pilot was very nice, provided outstanding commentary and demonstrated a true love for flying!
