Rig smag af Salento vine

Stefano was a charming and knowledgeable host! We sat under a beautiful lemon tree on a quiet patio and tried five different local wines. Very generous pours. Paired with local snacks.

Stefano was a wealth of information! We learned so much about Solento wines and the Apulia and Salento regions of Italy. He served several traditional local snacks, all of which were delicious. It was just the two of us since December is very low tourist season. So there was plenty of leftover wine and Stefano sent us back to our hotel with all of it! This was a very generous and informative experience. We loved every minute and highly recommend it!

Was one of if not the best wine tasting experiences we have had, learnt so much and drank and ate even more! Must do in Lecce.

We really enjoyed this evening with Stefano trying many great wines from the region! It takes place in a nice little courtyard surrounded by lovely lemon trees! It’s a perfect setting to relax and try really nice wines! Stefano was excellent in explaining each wine and also the surrounding region! It was just the two of us so we had plenty of wine to finish, which was just fabulous! Highly recommend this experience if you enjoy wine! One tip: I’d book this on an evening where you have little plans the next morning so you can enjoy the sleep in :)

What a fun day! We joined Stefano's wine experience tour of the vineyards surrounding Lecce. It was a full day and we enjoyed every minute of it. The tour included multiple stops, with each one being totally different from the previous one. Stefano provided an excellent overview of the wine-making tradition, the vineyards and varietals. It was a small group tour (no more than 5), which added to the experience. Our favorite stop was the coop, which was completely different from any winery we've ever visited. That's not to take away from the others, but we loved the "gas station" delivery method for the jugs . . . and the wines were tasty as well! This was a great way to see the countryside outside of Lecce and to experience the small vineyards in a very personal way. Stefano is the ultimate host and you will enjoy your time with him.

Great experience with Stefano, 6 wines to taste and antipasto to accompany it. Very knowledgeable about the area and its wines. I would highly recommended for wine lovers.

Stefano was an excellent host, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very welcoming. A selection of 2 white (1 sparkling), 2 rose and 2 red wines from the local region were selected for us to sample along with a variety of locally produced breads, cheese and savory pastries. The portion sizes (both wine and food) was plentiful, Stefano is generous with his wine pouring and hospitality! We learnt a lot about Salento wine production, the grape varieties and processes along with the history of the area. An unexpected surprise was that Stefano bagged up the open bottles and gave them to us to take back to our apartment (we are enjoying sampling them again with some salumi and formaggio as I type). It wasn't easy finding a decent looking wine/ food experience in Lecce prior to travelling but we hit gold with this one. 100% recommend and we have experienced several food and wine tours throughout Italy over the past decade.

Probably the best wine tasting we've ever experienced. Stefano is so knowledgeable and entering. Good wine and foods. We will be back next year!

Fantastic pairing of five bottles of wine (which we got to keep!) with traditional snacks - all delicious and entertaining and I learned a ton (even as someone who regularly studies wine). Stefano did a great job and was waiting for us like a pro. Everything went smoothly and we had a blast.
