Ridning til udsigtspunkt 1 og Cocora Valley-floden

Beskrivelse

The tour was nice and the guide friendly. However, he did not have control of the horse and I have no riding experience. When the guide opened a gate and left us unattended, the horse ran off with me on its back on a narrow path. Luckily I was able to hold on and eventually another tour guide came from the other direction who could stop the horse. I don't know how long we would have ridden through the valley otherwise. Pretty dangerous thing.
It was a lifetime experience, the stunning views on a horseback, this combination was out of the world, it was my first time on the horseback, kind of an adventure with trekking. There are spots where we can get down from the horse and climb a little bit for clicking stunning pictures, our guide Monica was really kind and helpful, she was always with our son, at first i thought it was risky for my 3 year old riding solo on a horse but infact he enjoyed it a lot and it was safe for him. You can watch videos on youtube of this place but trust me, relishing the experience with your own eyes makes you feel this is heaven. Truly heavenly experience.
We had a great experience and our tour guide Nicolas was a fantastic guy and we appreciated the adventure we went on.
Such a beautiful and surreal landscape to see by horseback! Our guide Yonathan was so helpful, funny and charismatic through the whole journey. Not only did he make sure we got to see everything we wanted in Cocora Valley, he would regularly run up and down (literal mountain slopes) to get ahead of us and take the best photos! Truly a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you Yonathan!
Please be responsible and aware tourists. The horses they use for tours are exploited, they do not rest between tours. The valley is beautiful I highly recommend, but make the crossing on foot, it is very sad to see how they subject the horses to such a strong and constant physical demand. It's not regulated the deal, they don't have a break and because they're so cheap all day they're working. This is NOT ecotourism.
An amazing experience. Julio, our guide, and Cesar, our translator, were great. They were very experienced and pleasant, able to assist and answer any of our questions. The tour has 3 parts, an initial ride up a smaller mountain, then a ride through the forest with rivers, and finally up to the view point. This ride is pretty much beginner friendly, although some parts were steep so I’d be cautious with children. Thanks again for a lovely day!
Once overcoming some confusion on where to get the Jeep in Salento, the whole thing became spectacular. As a party of 1, I got on a Jeep w/some larger groups, which GREATLY reduced my wait. My guide, Fabian, was really good w/Caprichoso my steed & with me, he also got many pics of me (downside of going alone). The scenery was beautiful, & my guide showed me the younger palms, & also showed me the nursery for the sprouting palm trees. The ride through the paths was great. After a ride in Arizona where my horse was ornery, this experience was wonderful. :)
Don Julio was my tour guide and he was phenomenal, he gave me the horse “Costeña” and the ride was exquisite, the views are amazing. This is one of the best horse ride experiences i have ever had in the world. the whole thing is a must. 10/10
Excellent experience. Our tour guide named DON JULIO was outstanding. He made the trip enjoyable and entertaining by sharing stories and information of the Cócora area and the palm trees. If driving, make sure to reach the end of the Cócora road, where a big parking space will be next to the stables. Parking vendors will try to mislead you claiming they are the closest one to the Cócora horse tour stables.
Our guide Julio was great and the horses were perfect for us. The trails we took were challenging but we always felt safe. The horses were calm and Julio was always certain of the best ways to navigate the trails and helped us take amazing pictures.
