Vi vil snack vores vej gennem skjulte bagerier, familiedrevne steder og street food favoritter. Denne private tur handler om at spise som en lokal, dele gode historier og nyde byen bid efter bid.

Vi starter vores rejse i det, der oprindeligt var et arbejderkvarter, som nu er et af Prags mest trendy steder. Dens industrielle charme gør den til en af de mest unikke. En pulserende blanding af alternative kulturelle knudepunkter og adskillige bistroer, caféer og restauranter er spredt ud over området. Valgmulighederne er uendelige!
At besøge Libeřské lahůdky føles som at besøge din tjekkiske bedstemor. Denne familieejede virksomhed har lidenskabeligt fremstillet traditionelle tjekkiske kager, sandwich og andre delikatesser i over 30 år. Du kommer til at fortære deres flagskibsprodukt, som byen er ved at blive vild med.
Denne tidligere fabrik tilbyder en unik blanding af industrielle rum med en række kulturelle, kunstneriske og gastronomiske oplevelser. Under ét tag finder du en café, dansestudie, biograf, eventhal, galleri, multimedierum, food truck og et destilleri. Er du klar til at smage?
Det næste stop tager os til et tidligere slagteområde, men bare rolig. Hvad der tidligere var kendt for sine industrielle lugte, er blevet det cool og hippe epicenter for kultur og gastronomi. Det er ligesom Prags helt egen Soho, fyldt med Chicagos industrielle charme. Derudover er det en turistfri zone, hvor du kan nyde friske råvarer fra lokale landmænd på byens største og mest autentiske landmændsmarked.
Hvad Prags indbyggere har drømt om i årtier, er nu en realitet: En fodgængerbro forbinder to trendy distrikter. Den slanke moderne arkitektur komplementerer problemfrit Prags historiske skyline. Vær blandt de første til at krydse denne bro og måske endda tage en hurtig dukkert i floden ved Štvanice Island?
Efter en større oversvømmelse forvandlede denne tidligere ghetto sig til det charmerende Karlin-distrikt, nu kendt som hipsternes hule. Og den lokale gastronomi? Simpelthen for velsmagende til at modstå.
Kirken af Saints Cyril og Methodius er en af de største religiøse strukturer i det 19. århundrede i Tjekkiet. Bygget i midten af det 19. århundrede, står det som et af de mest betydningsfulde arkitektoniske vartegn i den neoromanske stil.
Tidligere marcherede hundredvis af soldater her; i dag er det et sted for sjov og afslapning. Disse barakker er blevet et yndet sted for besøgende på tværs af generationer. De vigtigste attraktioner er i den centrale gårdhave, med en kæmpe sandkasse, udendørs biograf, mini observationstårn, bar, sauna og beachvolleybane. I området, hvor den oprindelige militærbassin stod, finder du nu en stilfuld café. Garagerne er blevet omdannet til en musikklub og et fantastisk galleri.

We enjoyed this experience touring neighborhoods and experiencing what "life like a local" looks and feels like. The tour included stops at a local pastry shop, Prague's only distillery, busy local farmers market, local wine shop and lunch savoring local favorites. Authentic Prague Food Tour If you want to get a sampling of what the locals eat and drink in Prague and an overview of the city while you’re doing it, this tour is for you! Tomàs was an outstanding guide and we enjoyed his company as well as his expertise. This was a great beginning to our stay in Prague. Drinking wine on the sidewalk outside a local wine spot with the snow falling was a highlight!

Thomas was great, we met and we were immediately immersed in Prague's rich history and delightful delicacies. From the beer and wine to the meats, cheeses and garlic stuffed peppers, the entire time we were together was full of laughter and delight. I would highly recommend Thomas to guide anyone thru a wonderful journey.

Tomas, took us to some unique food stops and made sure we got to know a lot about traditional Czech food. He was also very knowledgeable about the culture and gave us a great insight into daily life. Great walking and food tour! We had already tried a lot of local food, but we tried new stuff and learned about its role in culture, parties, family. Tomáš was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were in a nice neighborhood but it wasn’t touristy. The whole experience felt authentic. Definitely recommend Tomáš and the experience

Tomas was a delightful guide. He was knowledgeable and personal, and selected an interesting venue for the tasting outside of the Old Town. We benefited from down to earth, less touristy locations, which gave a better feel for how and where locals eat. We highly recommend Tomas and the tour.

Tomas was a great host. We meandered from place to place trying Czech delicacies we would never have found on our own. He told us stories as an accompaniment to the food that shared the local culture and history. With a good sense of humor and perspective we finished our sojourn with full bellies, an appreciation for the broad spectrum of Czech food and a palate appreciative of the local beverages.
