Vi begynder i en lokal butik, der er synonymt med deres kvalitetsdonuts – Do-Rite Donuts. Derfra går vi Randolph-korridoren og lærer om Chicagos West Loops historie, et historisk kvarter, som har gennemgået en række revitaliseringer siden sine dage som den industrielle rygrad i City of Big Shoulders. Vi vil prøve de skøre, matcha-infunderede kreationer af en skjult perle – Matcha-Cita-café, hvor du helt sikkert bliver nødt til at holde pause for en fotooptagelse! Vi vil nyde den overdådige donut-styling fra en nybegynderbutik, der forsøger at bryde ind på scenen, Voodoo Donuts, en Portland-transplantation med overbærende smag og uventede toppings. Til sidst spadserer vi gennem en magisk, gammel murstensgyde fyldt med smuk, blomstret gadekunst, før vi dukker op på Sawada Coffee, ejet af den verdenskendte latte-kunstner, Hiroshi Sawada. Under hele vores rejse vil vi give anekdoter og historie om hver af lokationerne, det omkringliggende kvarter samt Chicagos historie generelt.

Hos Do-Rite Donuts vil vi prøve nogle af deres fantastiske, roterende smag. Hvis du føler dig så tilbøjelig, har de også en fantastisk stegt kyllingesandwich, som du kan prøve efter rundvisningen. Det er fænomenalt!
Under hele turen vil vi udforske West Loop og Restaurant Row. Det er ikke et væld af gåture, men det er nok til at hjælpe med at gå væk fra nogle af de donuts, du skal spise.

Emily, our tour guide, was fabulous! She was so nice, fun and informative. My husband has a peanut allergy and she was very attentive to that. The tour was really fun!

Our guide Emily was great! She was very energetic and seemed to really enjoy sharing with us as much as possible regarding the stops we made on the tour. We definitely had plenty of donuts to try during the tour.
