Oplev Barolo - ofte kaldet "Kongen af vine og vin af konger" - på en lille gruppe rejse fra Milano ind i vinmarkerne i Langhe, et UNESCO verdensarv vin landskab. Oleg was an amazing guide and very knowledgeable. Fun to talk with enjoying the beautiful scenery and great win.
Oleg was extremely hospitable from the start! He contacted us ahead of time and ended up picking us up at our hotel. He made the ride to Alba entertaining with lots of information and history. We had an amazing day in Alba, which included a truffle tasting and recommendations for a great lunch on our own. We then had a great visit to a lovely winery with amazing views, where we tasted 8 wines. I cannot say enough for Oleg and Abroad’s Tours. The van was also super comfortable.
Punctual pickup, great communication, and an informative & charismatic guide -- Chiara! We had an enjoyable tour with Abroads Tours seeing Piemonte, Castle Cavour, vineyards, lunch in Alba, and a wonderful Barolo wine tasting. We appreciated the indoor location changes due to the hotter than normal temps. Definitely recommend!

Memorable and magical! One of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Ciara was enthusiastic, entertaining, and energetic. Amazing!!! It was a very Hot day, but the A/C bus was great, cold water was provided, the winery tasting was moved inside out of the heat. Well planned. Great recommendation on a lunch restaurant and they booked for us.

A full day experience that was more than worth the money. It was so special to have our guide, Chiara, be from the region and so passionate and knowledgeable about the area Svcs the location. I also loved how she shared personal history about herself and where she grew up in Italy. We had the absolute best food and gelato. The wine tasting was informative and fun with magnificent views. Definitely a must!
Thank you for this review. Small group size is central to how I run the Barolo tour, it means real conversation with the producers and more attention to detail during the tastings. The air conditioned van kept things comfortable between stops, and I'm happy the local flavors, truffle, hazelnuts, and of course the wines themselves came through as highlights.
Chiara was an absolute pleasure! I booked this tour for a 40th birthday trip to Italy. This experience did not disappoint. The explanation of Italian history as we drove, the stop at the castle, the view! The wine tasting at the winery! I would not have changed a thing!

The comfortable air conditioned van made the hillside routes easy, and those panoramic views over the vineyards never get old.

Chiara was amazing and Fabio was great. We were able to get a taste of Alba and the wine was excellent. With a smaller group you are able to experience more and get to know your guide which really helps solidify the experience.
