Restauranter i nærheden af Astoria Queens Global Bites Food Tour

Beskrivelse

Rejseplan
Sørg for at komme sulten! Føl dig velkommen til at bruge badeværelset her før turen begynder!

We had a great time and ate so much good food. Coney is a great host and was so prepared with everything you needed for a food tour (wet wipes! Plates! Tupperware!). Definitely come hungry you will get plenty!
This tour was so much fun! We live in Manhattan but had not explored Astoria much, so this was a great way to do that! Coney was a fabulous guide, with tons of local knowledge and she brought us to great places to try various cuisines. I’m gluten free and she was able to tailor the offerings to my dietary restrictions which was much appreciated.
This was a really fun way to spend my first time in Astoria! The guide was super friendly and made us feel comfortable right away. It felt more like exploring the neighborhood with a friend than being on a formal tour. We had such unique and delicious foods that I wouldn’t have found any other way! We left full and satisfied!
It was our first time in Astoria, and we were able to enjoy a lot of dishes from various countries and we left full! I especially liked the Moroccan chicken pastilla. We walked quite a bit, so it was a good exercise. The guide Coney is a local from Astoria and familiar with area and was very kind. Thank you very much.
If you just want someone to show you a few restaurants and walk the through a couple supermarkets but aren’t looking for any history of the town or its food people or culture, then this is probably fine. I didn’t feel like I got anything out of this experience at all. The timing was off, not planned well and the conversation was severely lacking. I’ve been on many food tours in many cities and this one barely qualifies. Guide was nice but definitely new at this.
Thank you so much for your feedback. I’m truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this, as I’m still a newer guide and continuously working to improve pacing, storytelling, and flow. My tours focus on authentic local food tastings and neighborhood exploration, and based on thoughtful input from guests like you, I am now enhancing the experience with more structured historical and cultural insights about Astoria and its diverse communities. Thank you again for helping me grow.
The Astoria food tour was such a fun experience! Every stop had amazing energy, great flavors, and a vibe that made the whole day feel special. Our guide, Coney, kept everything light, entertaining, and super organized. The portions were generous, the pacing was perfect, and we never felt rushed. If you love food, good company, and exploring new spots, this tour is a must. I’d definitely do it again!
Such a fun experience! This food tour was the perfect way to explore Astoria’s amazing mix of cultures through its food. We tried so many different foods, some i’ve never tried before! The guide was super friendly and made the whole vibe feel relaxed and welcoming. You could tell they really love the neighborhood and know their stuff. Astoria is full of surprises and this is a great way to experience it!
Fantastic tour! Was so fun, informative, and full of incredible food! You can really tell the host cares about creating a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the area through its food!
This food tour was amazinggg! We tried so many foods from places I would’ve never heard about on my own. I really enjoyed learning about Astoria’s deep pockets of different cultures through food. The guide, Coney, is really sweet too! Very knowledgable about Astoria and isn’t cheap on the portions we got.
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed discovering Astoria’s hidden food gems and learning about the neighborhood’s cultures. It was a pleasure showing you around, and I’m happy the portions hit the spot too!
Word of advice: come hungry! This food tour will absolutely fill you up. Every stop was delicious, and each local business was thoughtfully chosen by the guide. Our guide, an Astoria native, was super friendly and made sure my friends and I had a great time—you could really tell how much she cares about the neighborhood and her love for food. My favorite stop was the Georgian dumpling—it was huge, doughy, and full of soup, totally different from the East Asian dumplings I’m used to! It was also super fun exploring Astoria as we walked to each stop — I even spotted a bunch of restaurants I want to check out next time I’m back!
Haha, yes! Coming hungry is definitely great advice! I’m so glad you enjoyed the stops and got to try the Georgian dumplings. They’re a personal favorite too. It was awesome exploring the neighborhood with you, and I hope you get to check out all those other restaurants next time!
