I denne kulinariske workshop og smagsoplevelse vil du skabe lækre traditionelle retter fra lokale, friske ingredienser og nyde den autentiske smag, mens du lytter til underholdende historier om retternes udvikling. Vil du vide, hvordan kong Alfonso X 'The Wise' var involveret? Hvad havde de gamle romere at gøre med de ikoniske kanariske øer mojo? Hvad er bidraget fra sensuelle arabiske kulinariske oplevelser til de spanske smage? Denne unikke blanding af indfødte, afrikanske, europæiske og amerikanske indflydelser, der stammer fra en gammel handelsrute, har skabt de berømte hjørnesten i det kanariske køkken. Vi er beliggende i den historiske landsby Chirche i det sydlige Tenerife. Instruktøren er Chef Ave, med sin langvarige erfaring som kok de køkken på krydstogtlinjer. What an amazing experience. Erik with his knowledge of the history from the Cannaries to farther afield to Ave who guided us through the process of making mojo. We were made so welcome and at ease in their beautiful home. This is the first cooking class we have ever attended and the whole experience was fantastic. The time went so quickly which was a shame as I could have stayed for hours chatting to them both. It really is worth every penny. Thank you Erik and Ave.

We had an amazing experience! We made delicous traditional mojos and learned loads about the history of the food on the island. The experience finished with a delicious meal when we could enjoy the food we'd made and eat other traditional food including canarian potatoes and tapas. All set in a beautiful and peacful ancient mountaintop village. Would 100% recommend for anyone 8-108! Great family day out!

Truly a highlight of my trip. A chance to see a small village and be invited into their home was extraordinary. The class was informative, fun, generous and the best souvenir is I now can make these sauces back home. I also opted for the shuttle pickup from my hotel and it was easy, friendly, and very safe. Special event for everyone, even younger kids. On the side you'll learn some history facts about Tenerife. The hosts are super friendly. We can definitely recommend the Mojo cooking class.

it was a nice, entertaining trip to a small mountain village. The hosts were extremely friendly, the ambience beautifully homely. We have learned not only how to make typical Canarian mojo, but also a lot from the life of the Canaries.
