Our guide, Jimena, is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
Jimena was knowledgeable about the cemetery & shared many stories about specific tombs and the history of Argentina as well.
Jimena was my tour guide. The price was definitely worth the tour. The price of admission to the cemetery was not included but also very reasonable. I was running behind on my scheduled time to arrive for the tour. Jimena went to great lengths to keep in contact with me from the start of the tour and through-out so that I could catch up to the group. Not only that but her knowledge and story telling of the entire cemetery was very immersive and so easy to connect with and understand. You can certainly leave with more than just cool pictures. Highly recommend! Amazing tour and visual and convenient location!
We had a fantastic tour with Jimena. She was incredibly knowledgeable and told us all about the history and symbolism of the cemetery and how it tied to the broader story of Buenos Aires. She made sure to take time to answer questions, and took the tour at a good pace. A really excellent way to learn about La Recoleta.

Do the tour! It is so worth it. My husband was not excited about the cemetery and ended up loving it.

A fantastic way to learn a lot about the history of Argentina. Our guide Jimena certainly knew her stuff but just as importantly she knew how to deliver it with humour and perfect English. Fascinating couple of hours and highly recommended.
