Velkommen til Ravenna, en by rig på historie, kultur og gastronomi. Vi tager på en guidet tur til Ravennas berømte vartegn og kombinerer det med en kulinarisk rejse gennem byens traditionelle køkken. Vi besøger Cappella di San Vitale, Mausoleo di Galla Placidia og Sant Apollinare Nuovo, der er UNESCOs verdensarvssteder. Nu er det tid til at dykke ned i Ravennas kulinariske lækkerier. Vi starter med en traditionel snacks som piadina, salami og ost. Bagefter vil vi smage nogle af Ravennas berømte pastaretter, såsom cappelletti al ragu eller med grøntsagssauce. Sant'Apollinare Nuovo er en fantastisk basilika fra det 6. århundrede beliggende i Ravenna, Italien. Basilikaen er berømt for sine imponerende byzantinske mosaikker, der pryder vægge og lofter, som skildrer scener fra Bibelen og Jesu Kristi liv. Very nice small group tour. We only had 6 people in our group. Our tour guide, Marta, was wonderful and very knowledgeable. We'll worth the money.

I use a walker and found the walking tour to be handicap accessible. Our guide, Marta, was very knowledgeable about history and the meaning behind the beautiful mosaics. The 3 food stops provided time to sit and rest.

Ravenna is a beautiful city to walk around, all the most important monuments are in the center, with the bike rented at the station, and in the cycle path you can get to the basilica of San appolinare in class...
I was a little wary in choosing this tour as it didn’t have many reviews but we were just in town for a few hours on our way to a cruise and wanted to see the sites and grab some lunch and this ticked all the boxes. Marta was truly a gem and her passion for her home and knowledge of the sites was outstanding. The food was also fabulous and we were stuffed! Highly recommend this tour and hopefully you’re lucky enough to get Marta as your guide.
