Lad os undersøge og genopdage Ragusa, Modica og Scicli. Turen følger en rejseplan, der omfatter historie, kunst, tro og kultur. Vi inviterer dig til at tilbringe en dag med at besøge det største laboratorium for barok byudvikling og dens omgivelser. Hundredvis af kirker spredt rundt, imponerende basilikaer, halvt skjulte små kirker i overfyldte gyder, bygninger med usædvanlige arkitektoniske løsninger, portaler, historier om de gamle ædle familier, repræsenterer den dyrebare arv af den største blomstring af siciliansk barok kunst, hvilket gør disse steder , deres atmosfære og deres landskab virkelig unik.

Turen starter i Ragusa Ibla med besøget af det barokke stil historiske centrum. Ragusa ibla kan betragtes som et rigtigt open-air museum, hvor overfloden af Iblean-barok sameksisterer i synergi med naturen af iblei-bjergene. Her vil vi beundre den vidunderlige Saint George-katedral i Piazza Duomo, "Portale di San Giorgio", en vidunderlig bue i catalansk gotisk stil fra 1400-tallet, den smukke "Giardino Ibleo" og mange bygninger i barok stil.
Vi fortsætter mod Modica, hvis historiske center (Modica bassa), er også i barok stil. De to katedraler, San Giorgio, som dominerer landsbyen fra toppen af bakken og San Pietro, der ligger ned ad hovedgaden, er begge ekstraordinære eksempler på den sicilianske barok. Vi vil stoppe ved den antikke chokoladebutik Bonajuto for at hjælpe forklaringen af processen for at lave den typiske lokale chokolade, lavet ifølge en gammel opskrift af aztekerne, der blev bragt til Sicilien af spanierne under deres dominans. Vi starter den vandre bytur med Chiafura Archaeological Park, hvor det bliver muligt at se hulerne gravet ind i kalkstenstenen, hvor mange familier stadig levede indtil midten af det sidste århundrede. Derefter starter vi fra San Bartolomeo-kirken, og vi kommer over byens centrum rig på barokke stilpalasser og kirker, der gjorde Scicli blevet en del af UNESCOs verdensarv.

My friend and I really appreciated our Ragusa, Modica & Scicli tour with Riccardo of Taxi Catania NCC . He was professional, friendly and made sure we had the time and space to explore these Sicilian towns on our full-day adventure! I highly recommend him!
Ricardo was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and easy-going. I highly recommend this tour. Modica chocolate tour needs to be scheduled ahead of time, so something to look into before going.
Roberto was incredible. So informative, flexible, and considerate. We saw so much. He stopped at numerous wonderful overlooks for photos. His knowledge of the history, geography, and customs of the area gave us insight of the area. He gave us choices of what to see and how to see them in each locale. We two 76 year olds appreciated his consideration. He made sure we had information for the remainder of our stay. Grazie mille Roberto! XO
Martino was great. We covered a lot of ground that day. He took us to a number of Fabulous places to admire great views of the area. He was happy to take pictures of us at special places which we appreciate. He was friendly informative it was a pleasure to spend the day with him.
A excellent experience. Driver was absolutely great. He was very knowledgeable and flexible. The towns visited were baroque jewels.
I booked this tour and I asked to my friend who lives in Taormina to come with me . The driver was totally ignored me whole the time and only chatting with my friend in Italian. I was totally invisible to him . I know he was a just driver but I really did not feel welcome by this driver just chatting with my friend in Italian . I was the one who is paying whole price and my friend supporsed to be my guide . At the end ,he even asked my friend if she enjoyed this tour but not to me . I appreciate him being flexible to change the route a bit . However not appropriate for treated me as invisible whole time . I am very generous tipper when it comes to tipping since I worked most of my life as customer service getting tip from my customer .so I understand how tip helps . Too bad I’ve did not get 25percent tip I prepared for him .
We understand your point of view, and we apologize for you did not feel confortable! Anyway, the driver talked to your friend because She was Speaking italian, so easier for him to keep conversation, and he did not know Who booked and Who was invited as a friend; for the driver both of you were clients.

We spent the day with Martino of Taxi Catania. He met us promptly at the agreed upon location. He was very flexible allowing us to to totally change our itinerary to suit our needs. He was very friendly and anxious to make sure we enjoyed our day. We especially enjoyed walking , shopping and eating in Catania. I would recommend him without reservation
Our guide was a hour late because he went or was sent to the wrong port. Verified that I put the correct port on my reservation. We had a o completely miss one of the cities. While I was very happy with our time in Modica and Ragusa, would have like to make it to Sicili. Our driver spent a fair amount of time on the phone as well. The vehicle was nice and clean. Our driver was nice and courteous. When I reached out to the tour provider, the response was “well these things happen”. Not really the response I was expecting. I paid for a tour to 3 cities and got 2.
