Bered dig selv til at gå tilbage i tiden for omkring 5000 år siden, for at passere ved stedet for den 1. hovedstad i Upper & Lower Egypt “Memphis”. Derefter fortsætte med at besøge den 1. sten konstruktion i Egypten ”The Step Pyramid of Sakkara”, hvor idéen om pyramiden kom fra. Vi besøger også stedet for de tre pyramider Cheops, Chephren og Mycrenos, som betragtes som et af de syv vidundere i den gamle verden. Og at se Sfinxen, den faste vagt i Faraoernes land, udskåret af et solidt stykke kalksten.

Sakkara Step Pyramid, Egyptens ældste og første pyramide, der nogensinde er blevet bygget. Dedikeret til kong Djoser og designet af arkitekten Imhotep.
Den ældste stenkonstruktion i Egypten går tilbage til 2700 f.Kr. og dedikeret til kong Djoser grundlæggeren af det 3. dynasti i Det Gamle Rige.
Pyramiderne (Giza-platået): de tre pyramider af Cheops, Chephren & Mycrenos, der betragtes som en af verdens syv underverden og Sfinksen, Den faste vagt af Pharaohs land, skåret ud fra et solidt stykke kalksten.
Den største pyramide i Giza, dedikeret til kong Khufu, Pyramiden anslås at være bygget af omkring 2.300.000 kalkstenblokke, og den når en højde på ca. 139 m.
Den 2. højeste pyramide efter Khufus pyramide, dedikeret til kong Khafre, søn af Khufu, og når en højde på omkring 136 meter.
Efter at have set de to første pyramider, går vi op til plateauet, så vi får se de fulde 3 pyramider justeret sammen og taget nogle rigtig gode billeder.

A very beautiful tour; we also visited the school where they teach how to make carpets, which was very interesting and truly impressive. The Pyramids are beautiful, and the site is well-maintained. Our guide, Mustafa, was very kind and explained many things to us.
Best guide ever! Guest experience oriented with really interesting and engaging content. Very welcoming, friendly and helpful. He gave us all kind of advice and insights about the country and culture.
The trip in general was good. Tour guide Mustafa was extremely nice, supportive and polite. When I needed the Internet he shared his mobile Internet with me. When I needed to leave my bag somewhere he was carrying it himself. It was very nice and helpful. The experience was good. I got a lot of memorable pictures from this tour.
We booked the All Inclusive: Giza Pyramids, Sphinx, Sakkara, and Memphis tour (09:00–17:00) through Viator, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Egypt. From the moment our guide Mustafa and driver Bilal met us at the hotel, the entire day was flawless. Mustafa is an exceptional Egyptologist—polite, professional, incredibly friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing his country’s history. He explained every aspect of the sites with such clarity, depth, and enthusiasm that even complex topics (like the construction techniques of the pyramids, the symbolism of the Sphinx, the Step Pyramid at Sakkara, and the ancient ruins of Memphis) felt accessible and fascinating. He tailored the explanations perfectly to our questions and interests, never rushing us, and always making sure we fully understood before moving on. What truly set this tour apart was Mustafa’s genuine care and concern for us. He constantly checked if we were comfortable in the heat, offered water and shade breaks when needed, reminded us to wear hats/sunscreen, and made sure we had enough time at each site without feeling hurried. Bilal, our driver, was equally professional—safe, punctual, and always ready with a smile. The air-conditioned vehicle was spotless and comfortable, which made the transfers between sites (especially the longer drive to Memphis and Sakkara) enjoyable rather than tiring. The itinerary was perfectly paced: we started at the Giza Plateau (with plenty of time for photos, camel rides if desired, and exploring inside one of the pyramids), visited the Sphinx up close, then moved to the stunning Step Pyramid complex at Sakkara, and finished at the open-air museum in Memphis with its colossal statues and alabaster sphinx. Everything was included as promised—no hidden fees, no pressure to buy souvenirs, and excellent lunch at a clean, authentic local restaurant with great food. This was truly a private, personalized experience that felt luxurious yet relaxed. Mustafa and Bilal went far beyond what we expected—they didn’t just guide us; they looked after us like friends who wanted our day to be perfect. If you’re visiting Cairo and want an unforgettable, stress-free introduction to Egypt’s most iconic ancient sites, book this tour without hesitation. Mustafa and Bilal made it magical. Fascinating day visiting the ancient pyramids with my guide Bebo and our driver Mahmoud. I went alone but felt safe and protected at all the places. Bebo showed me all the important sites, knowledgeable and kind, caring all the time that I feel comfortable and good. I had also free time to walk alone and enjoy the monuments, finally seeing in real what I have learned and read about for many years. We visited also the carpet factory and papyrus shop where I met kind and knowledgeable guides as well. Mahmoud drove us safely through the tough traffic, I really enjoyed the ride from one to the other places we visited. I can only say many thanks to them both and this will stay a nice and chairing memory for ever. Warmly recommended!

Mustafa was an outstanding guide Interesting fun and adventurous! I wouldn't go around again on camels because you can see that they are whipped to be trained (they also have all the signs) Also some have a hook in their nose to keep up.. For the rest excellent!
