Vi går ombord på båden ved Las Cañitas Dock, for at gå til Cayo Levantado (Bacardí Island). Allerede i Cayo Levantado eller Isla Bacardí nyder vi dets hvide sand og det krystalklare vand eller bare solbader under dets kokosnøddetræer. Frokost...I Cayo Levantado har vi en restaurant til frokostbuffet. og vender ud mod havet.
Efter frokost og strandtid tog vi til Samana, hvor lastbilen af Safari-typen venter på os for at runde byen, fortsætte gennem markerne, indtil vi når Rancho de los Caballos.
Limón-vandfaldet... Da vi først var på ranchen, red vi på heste i cirka 40 minutter, en måde at besøge La Cascada Limón på. Dette vandfald er et af de vigtigste vandfald i Antillerne og Caribien, med mere end 50 meter højt, hvor du kan tage en forfriskende dukkert og tage smukke billeder. Ved slutningen af Cascada-tiden drog vi til hest til Ranchen, vendte tilbage i lastbilerne til kajen og tog afsted på båden til Las Cañitas

Really enjoyed the treatment from the captain and guide Jose Ramon- they are the reason why I am selecting 2 stars. The tour itself did not go as explained on the itinerary. We did the horseback riding to El Limon waterfall first (it was supposed to be last) but it did not bother us, just changed into the other set of clothes for it. The horseback riding guides were friendly but at the end shared that they would only get paid what we would give them, we gave them all the cash we had but they were upset with that. Between the giftshop and time at the waterfall we were given less than an hour. The food at the ranch was authentic and delicious. After we took the safari truck again to the boat and then to Cayo Levantado. We were given less than an hour to enjoy the beach. Our experience was from 930am to 5pm, but we spent most of that time commuting. This tour had the making to be a great experience- the fact that it’s rushed and you’re asked for more money at every turn makes it lacking. The captain gave us a fun ride back to the pier. He’s a true hospitality specialist.

This excursion covers several of Samaná’s highlights in a single day, including transportation by land and sea, which is why travel time is an important part of the overall experience. While we understand some guests would enjoy spending more time at each location, the itinerary is designed to allow visitors to experience multiple iconic destinations in one full-day adventure.
