Denne tur giver dig mulighed for at se den 'rigtige' Dominikanske Republik uden for feriestederne. Ture ombord på en safari-lastbil ledet af en rejseleder, chauffør og bartender. Afhentning og aflevering på dit hotel eller overnatningssted. Transport med Truck Safari besøg derefter en typisk souvenirbutik og demonstration af håndlavede cigarer, du får en panoramaudsigt over skolen, derefter besøger vi byen Higüey med en panoramaudsigt over basilikaen. Gå ind på det lokale marked i Higüey. Besøg Higüey-bjergene og ankom til ranchen for at spise dominikansk mad i buffetstil til frokost. River Walk. Du vil besøge et typisk dominikansk hus, hvor du kan se processen med kaffe, kakao og frugt, med smagning inkluderet. Hestetur. Vi besøger Macao-stranden, hvor du får mulighed for at svømme. Drikkevarer under udflugten. (Vand / Rom / Juice)

Playa Macao er en strand beliggende i den nordlige del af Bávaro i den østlige region af Den Dominikanske Republik. Macao Beach indeholder hvidt sand med palmer i omgivelserne. Det er meget populært blandt lokalbefolkningen og er også et turiststed for surfere og dem, der tager på ture i buggyer og fire hjul.
Basilikaen i Higüey, hvis officielle navn er Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia Cathedral Basilica, er en katolsk helligdom i Salvaleón de Higüey, Den Dominikanske Republik. Det er katedralen for bispedømmet Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia i Higüey og et af de travleste helligdomme i Caribien.
Vi starter i Dominican Typical Souvenir butik, hvor du kan købe gaver til din familie. Bagefter vil vi se demonstrationen af håndlavede cigarer. Efter besøget i det typiske hus, hvor du kan se den dominikanske kultur fra det mest ydmyge perspektiv, vi kan være.

This is a very nice excursion. Darwin was our tour guide and he was very attentive and knowledgeable about the culture. It was a comfortable van with air conditioning a plus.
Our driver Sandi and our guide Frank were fantastic. They were kind, courteous, and professional from start to finish. It was awesome getting to see outside of the resorts during our trip. The group is small enough to feel intimate but not overcrowded. Would definitely recommend again!
First time here so we decided to take the tour to get into the island, its customs and flavors, super recommended!
Our guide Alex and driver Samuel were GREAT. I rate this one as average because of the following: the horseback riding experience was awful and the conditions of the riding area were ABYSMAL and the smell was wretched. Aside from the fact that the horses were not listed as a part of the experience which is why we chose it, I know why we passed on it. This should be removed as a spot. The second reason is because we stopped at a “candy” store which was nothing more than a gift shop with people trying to sell us stuff. Now, I have no issue with supporting the local economy but given that each stop already has souvenir stands as a part of it, there is absolutely no need for there to be another stop for just souvenirs. Third and final reason was that lunch was at the end of the tour which is not a big problem and one that can be easily fixed with listing that in the description so that folks know OR, add 5-10 dollars to the cost and then have snacks available throughout the tour because with a 725 pickup and lunch at 1…that’s not a good thing. Like I said, Alex and Samuel were not the issue but the overall structure of the tour leaves much to be desired. BTW, lunch was very good! Dont take this tour until it’s changed.
It was a great experience going to the beach and horseback riding is very fun. The food is very good and the guide is very friendly.
The drinks during the tour were a nice touch. Water, rum and juice were always available and were very refreshing. A very good quality service, it was a magnificent experience!!
The bus tour allowed us to explore the beautiful city of Higüey The visit to the Basilica was a highlight, and the local market was a true immersion in Dominican culture
