Pub Crawl Ljubljana

First time in Ljubljana and experiencing its nightlife - didn't quite expect majority of the evening to be spent in English/Irish themed bars. For the price (£21 per person) the evening was okay value for money with the complimentary shots at each location. However, there were apparently premium tickets which we did not see advertised that included an additional shot with every drink you buy. Undeniably, in comparison to other big cities the nightlife is not great, we didn't even realise we were at the final club/dance bar because it was so small, but we did expect this. Overall, not an activity I would recommend as a must do while in Ljubljana - however, if you are in the mood to meet new people (mainly from the Netherlands in our case), this isn't a bad option (though maybe your only option), and the staff were friendly.

The product description does not correspond to the truth. You are taken to pubs for the sole purpose of making you consume alcohol. There is no nightclub/dance venue. When asked for explanations, the organizer admits the above, saying that the product description is deceptive in the Italian language.

I was on a new year’s eve pubcrawl and it was one of the best pubcrawls i have ever been to. It costed 60€ which seemed a lot at first but after seeing the prices at bars and entrance fees for clubs it was actually a really good deal. It included 2 mixed drinks and 5 shots but we even got more than that and it also included entries to two clubs which i asked about and it would cost us 50€ to get in. We started at England pub where we had a private party since the bar was closed for that day and we played beer pong and spin the wheel. The only bad thing was that we couldn’t use the bar’s bathroom but the guides took us to a hotel which was a few meters away so everything was solved. Then we went to karaoke and to another bar where we did some fun challanges and i really loved the part where the guides were drinking and partying with us. At the end we went to Circus club and the guides offered to take us to a place with food which i think was really nice since there was no food mentioned in the description. Overall everything was well-organised and our group had the best new year’s party ever and we are definitely coming back!

This pub crawl was definitely not the best pub crawl I’ve experienced. Overall, it felt like it was organized by a bunch of kids trying to make money off tourists, but they still have a long way to go to match other pub crawls. I’ve done pub crawls in various countries, including on New Year’s Eve, and it has never cost more than €40. In Ljubljana we paid €60 and got this: For the first one or two hours we were standing outside, which we were not informed about in advance. Toilets were not arranged. One of the organizers took us to a hotel across the street, saying that the hotel didn’t know we would be using their toilets. The “free” mixed drinks were pre-mixed in bottles and then simply poured out on the spot. As for the games: there was beer pong without beer, a wheel with tasks, and a to-do list that no one checked or marked. Another issue was that the organizers themselves were drinking alcohol, which I consider unprofessional, and it caused communication issues among them. The organizers also didn’t consider that we might get hungry during the evening and would like to grab something to eat while moving between bars. Overall, it was simply chaotic organization and low quality. Honestly, when I compare it to other pub crawls, this one was definitely not worth €60. However, if your only goal is to get drunk, I guess it can meet your expectations.

I was looking forward to the pub crawl on the 18th of october, but when the time came to meet at England pub, they never showed up... There were several groups that were confused and waiting, but no message, no emails, nothing. So after waiting for 30 minutes we all went our separate ways and the pub crawl never happened. I don't mind them cancelling if there were too few people signed up, but I do mind them not telling us up front....

I'm a senior guy and eventhogh this was best suited foryoung people, I had a good time. We even did some stunts and a beautiful young woman. gave me a kiss on the cheek. It made for a funny video.
