Beskrivelse
Vores guider er erfarne og vidende og vil tage dig på en rejse gennem nattehimlen. Lær at finde nord og placeringen af vores sæsonmæssige trekanter, konstellationer og planeter. Ved hjælp af kraftige laserpointere vil vi give dig en underholdende og akademisk oplevelse, med historier om gamle civilisationer, græsk mytologi og udviklingen af kosmos. Vores teleskoper styres med et tastatur og er lige så nemme at bruge som at sende en tekst. Teleskoper er forud programmeret med vores liste over objekter for natten. Ved at trykke på en knap på tastaturet flyttes teleskopet til det næste objekt. Vi ser regelmæssigt følgende typer og klasser af objekter: Galakser, nebuler, stjernehobe, dobbelt- og binære stjerner, planeter, Jordens måne, kugleformede klynger, kometer og meget mere. Afhængigt af timingen kan man se togene fra den internationale rumstation (ISS) og Starlink passere.

Stargazing Moab er glade for at være vært for dig, familie og venner til en underholdende aften med stjernebillede og astronomi under den internationalt certificerede mørke himmel i Moab, UT. Begyndende med en kort gåtur gennem en skala model af vores solsystem, vores guider vil gøre dig bekendt med vores naboplaneter som astronomisk skumring begynder at sætte. Hver gæst lounges i deres egen nul tyngdekraft pod med et tæppe og par binokler. Disse puder passer til din krop, eliminerer trykpunkter for at gøre det komfortabelt og nemt at se den stjernehimmel. Vores astronomguider vil præsentere et 2-timers program, der omfatter state-of-the-art teleskoper og laserpekere til at guide dig rundt i stjernebilleder og objekter på nattehimlen. Vi giver også gæsterne en nærmere visning af himmelske objekter (galakser, nebuler, klynger) gennem vores kraftfulde teleskoper. Der tilbydes også varme drikkevarer, såsom varm chokolade, kaffe og te.

Devon and Kramer were fantastic! Very insightful, energetic and great communicators. The skies were clear and the show amazing. Highly recommended.
This was an excellent evening activity! Devin has a fun way of delivering lots of information that makes it very interesting for all. They have a top notch setup, including several telescopes, a hot chocolate and coffee stand, binoculars, and bean bag lounges with blankets. We highly recommend this while in Moab!

The event is hosted by Devon a very educated and entertaining astronomer! I learned so much while being thoroughly entertained. Additionally her camera/telescope assistants were also very professional and well prepared. My husband (who loves studying the stars/space) and I loved it!

Lots of thought and effort put into this experience. Very passionate and knowledgeable guides. Everything was provided to to make the experience comfortable and enjoyable under the vast night sky. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Moab with even a passing interest in astronomy.

I was visting Moab on an Amtrak vacations 4 ( read: no car). I thought i could maybe take a rideshare to/from the tour location. Unfortunately the nature of ride-shares meant I didn’t find out nothing was available to take me until it was time to leave. Upon finding out (about an hour or so before the start time) I tried to repeatedly contact the operator to let them know of the problem and need to get transport or cancel. I received no response. It was only sometime after tour start that I received a “where are you” call that I was able to explain the situation. I was told they do offer a shuttle service to the tour site, but nothing on this page or their website says that. Rather it says they do not provide any transportation. I have yet to hear anything back about a refund or compensation despite the phone call referring to such possibility. Overall ability to communicate with operator in case of a problem was really poor and caused me to waist $200+ of money with no recourse.

Amazing!!! Absolutely fantastic. Devon was the BEST guide to the stars ever! As an astronomer, she pointed out the constellations, told the stories, and showed us distant galaxies with digital telescopes. Truly an amazing experience. We did this stargazing excursion, rafting, and canyoneering. This is tied for first! Highly recommend!
