DEJLIG OG FORNØJLIG VANDRETUR FOR AT UDFORDRE DET CHARMENDE KVARTER BORDEAUX MED VORES IN-HUSET SOMMELIER MED VIN- OG OSTSMAGNING. Denne tur er designet af vores interne Sommelier & Wine Expert. Han vil tage dig med på en spadseretur gennem UNESCOs vinhandlergader, hvoraf mange er 300 år gamle. Vi vil gå i næsten en time for at opdage kvarteret Chartrons og Bordeaux-floden, mens vi lærer om de forskellige druesorter, der bruges i Bordeaux, de vigtige vinregioner, hvordan man henter en flaske i et supermarked eller på en restaurant, hvad er klassifikationen fra 1855, hvordan man læser en etiket som en professionel, de historiske monumenter i distriktet og meget mere! I slutningen af turen vil vi sætte al den teoretiske viden ind i praktisk "læring ved at smage"... Skål!! PS - Vi laver andre ture som "Bordeaux økologisk madtur (fransk Apéro-stil) i Saint Michel-området & Best of Bordeaux-vandretur i centrum, tjek dem ud.

Vi starter vores tur i hjertet af Chartrons også kendt som Old Wine Merchant Street. Beliggende på "Port de la lune" (det franske navn for Port of Moon) også et kæledyrsnavn på Bordeaux, der stammer tilbage fra det 17. århundrede. I dag er de alle på UNESCOs verdensarvsliste.
Nyd den smukke udsigt over floden Garonne, mens du lærer om dens port- og vinhandel.
Mens du står ved flodsiden, vil du på afstand se en af de ældste broer i Bordeaux "Pont de Pierre", den blev bygget til Napoleon Bonaparte, der dateres tilbage til begyndelsen af det 19. århundrede. Ser vi mod nord for Bordeaux kan vi på afstand se en anden vigtig bro. Du vil blive overrasket over at kende den fantastiske teknologi, der bruges bag til at skabe denne fantastiske bro. Vi vil også kunne se verdens største vinudstillingsmuseum op ad floden mod nord. Her vil du lære om vinregionerne og druesorterne, mens du beundrer skønheden i det 21. århundredes museum på afstand. Bemærk venligst, at monumentet ikke vil blive besøgt fra tæt på.
Vi vil se et "Maisons Jumelles" tvillingehus på engelsk. Boede engang af en udenlandsk vinhandler. Udlændinges betydning i Bordeaux-vinhandelen.
Vær forberedt på en blind vinsmagning, dette er tiden til at åbne dine sanser og begynde at snuse og nippe til de lækre vine fra Bordeaux parret med forskellige oste og baguette. Din guide vil forklare og guide dig gennem denne oplevelse i en lokal vinbar.

We were lucky enough to be the only participants with our three group and therefore get an exclusive tour. The small tour of the neighborhood was very informative. Our guide Adrian was very nice and open-minded. Since the weather was quite rainy, the tour was quite close and we are quickly to the wine bar. There Adrian told us a lot about the Bordeaux wines and there were 4 wines (2x red, 2x white) tasted. For us it was just in the right detail and we enjoyed the tour.

I love Viator as you get to meet such lovely and knowledgeable experts like Adrian. We spent a good half hour touring the old part of Bordeaux and then around an hour tasting wine, while Adrian explain the finer points of the region, the grapes, how to match wine with food. Thoroughly recommend the tour, lovely guide, took the time to answer our questions fully and point out places we should visit. 👍🏻🍷
Enjoyed our walking tour with Pascale and discovered some lovely streets/areas we might not otherwise have visited. The wine & cheese tasting was delicious - so much so that we went back the next night for dinner! Would recommend this for a casual, fun and informative way to spend a few hours exploring beautiful Bordeaux

Ani was our fun guide. He is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, and as a sommelier, he took us on a wonderful walk while explaining the wine regions, the grapes grown in this region, and much more. We ended with a wine and cheese tasting, putting into practice our new found knowledge. Ani has a fantastic sense of humour and a wicked smile! We took a day trip from Paris to Bordeaux for the Wine and Cheese Tasting walking tour, and we were so glad we did! We met Ani several minutes early at the designated meeting point and went from there. Ani is very knowledgeable on the history of Bordeaux, mixing tales of the past with the history and science of wine, doing it all with a fantastic sense of humor! He has developed some great learning aides to teach but in a very accessible manner. We highly recommend this tour if you find yourself in the region. Thank you Ani!
