Det første stop vil være i byen Montepulciano. Dette charmerende centrum blev bygget i middelalderen og ligger på toppen af en bakke og er kendt for produktionen af vino Nobile di Montepulciano
Lige i hjertet af byen Montepulciano er Piazza Grande en gammel firkant med middelalderlige bygninger, små butikker, forskellige fine barer og restauranter.
Efter Montepulciano passerer vi forbi byen Monticchiello og kører gennem det smukke landskab i Toscana
Næste stop vil være i den dejlige by Pienza, en juvel fra renæssancen. Her kan du stoppe til frokost på en af de mange lokale restauranter (frokost er ikke inkluderet, men vi vil med glæde foretage en reservation til dig)
Katedralen i Pienza dominerer den smukke centrale firkant. Bygget omkring det 14. århundrede er en af de vigtigste kirker i renæssancetiden
I nærheden af katedralen er Piccolomini-paladset et pragtfuldt renæssanceeksempel på renæssancearkitektur. Her kan du besøge de dejlige haver, gården og de gamle stalde.
Om eftermiddagen kommer du til byen Montalcino, hovedstaden i regionen, der producerer Brunello, en af de bedste og mest berømte rødviner i verden

After a 3 week whirlwind around southern Italy, I was ready for a much needed R & R and I sure got that with "Alex" on my rainy, but beautiful and mystical magical day driving throughout the lovely small towns in and around Tuscany. I honestly have to say it was the best day of my 21 day trip. Alex was very easy to be with and talk to. He gave me much insight into Italy answering many questions which I still had. Communication with "Kiss From Italy" was excellent throughout and I have to say I wish I could do the day all over again. A great highlight of my trip. Thank you.

What a wonderful experience. Alessandro picked us up in rome on time in an immaculate and comfortable van. The drive up to Tuscany included stops to take photos of the beautiful countryside. The three planned stops went as planned and I enjoyed the free time to explore. He provided a great recommendation for our lunch. The tour of the winery was top-notch. We had the complete place to ourselves which made for a special tasting experience. I would also point out that the communication from the tour company was outstanding. When I was unable to obtain details prior to the tour, Francesca made sure to contact me with all the information I needed. Again, a wonderful experience.

This was the absolute highlight of our time in Rome. Our guide Peter was wonderful. We are not wine drinkers, so he suggested instead of going to a winery, we make a different stop.. it was the highlight of our trip. I know this tour is expensive, but it is worth every penny!
Francesco was wonderful! He was on time to our hotel and accommodated a last minute change for the trip…we added a stop at San Fillippo to see the hot springs which I highly recommend. He also had wonderful dinner suggestions and so much more to offer to our day.
Everything was seamless, from the planning, communication and the tour. Our guide, Michael was the best!!! He was educational, fun and really made this special trip to Tuscany extra special. Our winery tour was amazing, private and full of beautiful scenery and wine! I would highly recommend this tour, especially if Michael is your guide!
