Private Tour of Knights Templar Secrets and Ritualer

Hugo was an EXCELLENT guide for the day. He speaks VERY good English and is extremely knowledgeable of the history and countryside. We toured north of Lisbon and made stops in Tomar, Fatima, Bataha, Nazar’e, and several small villages. We had the best seafood lunch in Nazar’e. If you like to get out of the city and see some real beauty, this tour is HIGHLY recommended.

One of the best tours we’ve ever taken. It was just the two of us with Eduardo for the day. Eduardo answered and expanded on every question. He exhibited obvious passion for leading groups to explore Knights Templar sites. He is personable, knowledgeable and perceptive to create the best experience for each participant. I definitely would take another Heart and Soul tour!

He expertly taught my group of 6 about Knights Templar history in a very fun and engaging way. Also, my group had members with some physical challenges. I loved my day with Eduardo- we got along like a couple of old friends. He is so friendly and personable- so glad I met him. Tomar and Almoural castle were awesome and being able to take my time, ask questions and have details I would have never noticed myself shown to me by an expert was priceless.

I have already travelled to so many countries and fell in love with some including Spain. Now Portugal is at the top of my list basically because of the HEART AND SOUL TOURS. EDUARDO is the best tour guide! A very good historian, a consultant from buying souvenirs to real estate and an artistic photographer rolled into one. He is very honest, patient and easy to talk with. We learned so much about the places we have visited from the time before the country was founded by the knights to its industry (cork, sardines, leather goods). We had access to areas in our tour like in the Christ Convent and Pena palace (in Sintra tour) which normally are not known to ordinary tourists. We avoided long lines which can be quite a long wait during peak seasons. We really had a great time with our Sintra/Cabo Roca/Cascais full day tour that we booked again for this Knights Templar tour. Eduardo really has the heart and soul of Portugal!
