En surferby med masser af karakter, Paia er den perfekte måde at starte din rejse til Hana. Hvis din gruppe har brug for en lille energiforøgelse, kan vi stoppe ved et af caféerne i byen og tage en runde kaffe. Alice er Hululand er det perfekte sted at tage en funky souvenir, eller find ud af, hvad velsmagende tropisk frugt er i sæsonen på Mana Foods!
En af de mest betagende udsigter på Vejen til Hana, ser ud over den rolige landsby Wailua og det store hav bagved. Overfor Haleakela behandles du til et panorama af Ko'olau Gap, en tæt skovklædt dal, der strækker sig så langt øjet kan se mod krateret. Se hvor mange vandfald du kan tælle kaskade ned ad dalens mure!
En fantastisk sort vulkansk rock kystlinje, der springer ud i de stærke bølger i Stillehavet er baggrunden til et glimt af Maui's fortid. Her i Keʻanae, den traditionelle metode af loʻi kalo (vådt land taro) landbrug praktiseres stadig. Med ikke en, men to smukke vandfald, der har naturlige pools ideel til svømning, kan du dykke ned i køligt, forfriskende vand, der strømmer direkte fra hældningerne i Haleakela. For adrenalinsøgende i din gruppe, er der også en pengeskab spot til klippe-hoppe ved en af vandfaldene her!
Indtil nu, din besætning har sikkert oparbejdet ganske appetitten! Heldigvis, Der er flere spisesteder i Hana og uden for byen. For fantastisk træbrændt pizza toppet med grøntsager dyrket lige på stedet, Hana Farms er et godt stop for både frokost og udvælgelse af friske økologiske produkter. Der er også en food truck park i byen med flere muligheder, Braddah Hutt's BBQ Grill lige uden for byen, eller Hana Ranch Restaurant, hvis du har lyst nedsænkning i en havudsigt med dit måltid. Efter frokost, vil vi lade op og tage din gruppe til Hana Bay, hvor du kan nyde en fantastisk udsigt over Hana Town, og høre om områdets fascinerende historie.
Vidne til den forbløffende skønhed af 'Ālau Island, et fristed for havfugle dramatisk slået af bølger. Nyd udsigten, mens du går langs lommerne på den røde sandstrand, og se ud på Leho‘ula havbuen tilbage mod byen. Onkel Russells Huli Huli Chicken, som præsenteret på National Geographic's Uncharted med Gordon Ramsey, laver en fremragende tallerken frokost, der kan nydes ved et picnicbord med udsigt over dette smukke landskab.
En absolut smuk strand, der er perfekt til body-surfing, Hamoa Beach er beliggende i en ring af klipper overstrømmende med grønt. Blød sand løber hele vejen ind i det krystalklare vand, så hele familien kan nyde bølgerne uden at bekymre sig om sten!

Amazing private tour to Hana! A must do!! We had an awesome day today with Eugene! He showed us some of the most beautiful and unique (non-tourist) spots. We will remember this trip forever!

If the Road to Hana is on your list of things to do in Maui, why not sit back in a spacious and clean SUV and let Nick do the driving. The day we spent with Nick felt like sharing our trip with a very knowledgeable, fun and personal friend. Nick and Ohana tours communication before and during our trip was seamless. We saw everything on the itinerary and actually added a couple things. This was an amazing experience for our entire family and I highly recommend it!!! Travis was the best guide, and the coolest part was how the day was adapted to our family as Travis got to know us. The communication before and during was everything you would hope for when you are looking for a customizable, 5 star experience. I had been to Maui before and always wondered about the Hana experience. We brought our 8, 11, 14, and 15 year olds and they all said at the end of our trip that this was their favorite day of the entire trip! We loved the balance between car time and getting out to explore. It’s an incredible way to experience the beauty of the island from amazing trees (which we loved learning really cool details about from Travis), waterfalls, caves, and beaches. They provided everything- towels for after we all jumped a waterfall, all kinds of waters and snacks. Super flexible stops if a kid needed a restroom, changed their mind about a food truck, or wanted to listen to their music playlist. We did all wear ear patches before to help with any motion sickness and didn’t have any problems. We had other family members I recommended to also book with them and we will absolutely do this again bc there are so many different places to stop and explore!

This was the most amazing experience! The owner Eugene picked us up at our hotel, and took us to the office where we met our tour guide, Travis, who was amazing. A full day private tour getting to do what we wanted how we wanted! Travis was so friendly it was like touring with a friend, he got to know what we liked and took us to the most beautiful places plus food stops that fit our preferences! The price was unbeatable for such a custom experience, highly reccomend this to anyone looking for a private tour for a good price!

I have no words really, although we did see everything on the description, it was basically a driving tour with many winding roads. Hana itself was nothing to see. Black sand beach wasn’t a beach as one might expect, it was lava rock and really no place to swim. Although tour guide was knowledgeable, we felt his driving was a bit erratic at times and he took us to places that were closed. Waterfalls were not swimable. Wasted 8 hrs in a car was the end result. It would have been much better renting a car and going on our own. If you are considering the road to Hana, rethink it. It’s in our opinion a wasted trip.
Great day with Nick on the road to Hana. Well organized trip with detailed communication on pick up and things to know before the excursion. The ride was comfortable with ample bathroom stops if needed. Nick was well knowledge about historical Maui, island customs as well as flora/ plants native to the area. We hit all the highlights along the way, stopping at waterfalls, beautiful beaches, and killer views. Midway through, we stopped for banana bread, a must diversion! Had lunch in an area full of food trucks, a great way to catch the local vibe. Doing a private tour is a great way to customize your experience!

Eugene was awesome. Showed us everything we wanted to see, gave us insight on almost every nook and cranny of the road, stopped and got wild fruit from trees for us to taste, stopped when and where we wanted, and even took us to some off the beaten path places that he visits himself that no one else was around to see (and it was a busy road where people were at most every stop). He definitely made sure to help us get the most out of our trip. He even took us around the mountain instead of backtracking from Hana, which was just as beautiful in its own way. Would highly recommend this excursion.

We had such an incredible experience with Nick as our guide. He’s incredibly knowledgable about all the plants along the road to Hana and also knew a ton about the history of the region. Our favorite stop was a secluded waterfall that other tourists didn’t know about, so we had it all to ourselves.
