Very knowledgeable and cautious pilot who showed us the most he could given the weather forecast. We saw all 3 active volcanoes and their lava flows, as well as the beautiful beaches and other points of interest along the Kohala coast.

My wife and I had a blast! Private chopper flight in Kauai is the way to go. Our pilot, Matt, was a good young man, took us to sights we would not have been able to see on our own, and gave us good info as he circled/hovered around the interesting points. They also provided a phone holder for your phone during flight. We took some memorable photos and videos. It wasn’t cheap but soooo worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I can highly recommend a flight like that. It is an absolutely unique experience—especially on Kauai. The scenery is stunning; there is no other way to experience it quite like this. The price is high, admittedly, but we flew for a full hour, so it is definitely justified. You really have the flight all to yourself or your loved ones—no other passengers. That was one of the reasons I chose to fly with this company. Everyone had a window seat, and no one had to squeeze into a middle seat. The pilot was really nice and kept explaining where we were and what was special about the place. The booking process was super easy and very friendly. Flying without doors is absolutely amazing. It’s really windy, but I loved the feeling of sensing everything, and the photos turn out much better than they do from behind glass. My family and I won't soon forget this experience. It was unique!
Excellent tour - our pilot was Lance who was a fantastic pilot and tour guide. Lance highlighted all the history and environment of big island of Hawaii. We really enjoyed it and would thoroughly recommend anyone thinking about a helicopter tour or a tour to consider Mauna Loa helicopters as a great way to explore the big island and see all the sites and sounds in an efficient manner with a great company and great tour guide.
I honestly don’t know if there are words to describe how incredible this doors off helicopter tour was. Even the pictures and videos don’t come close to capturing what it feels like to actually be up there experiencing it. It was absolutely breathtaking, exciting, beautiful, and so much fun. Seeing Kauaʻi from the air with the doors off was unlike anything I have ever experienced. It was easily one of the biggest highlights of our entire trip to Hawaii, and I am so grateful I had the opportunity to do it. Our pilot was a wonderful young woman, and I wish I could remember her name because she deserves to be recognized. She did an exceptional job making us feel safe and comfortable from beginning to end. I never felt uneasy, which allowed me to relax and take in just how spectacular everything was. I also cannot say enough good things about the company. From the moment we arrived, everything was easy. Check in was simple, the staff was wonderful, everything was well organized, and the entire experience went so smoothly. This tour was worth every penny. If you are looking at it and thinking about booking but you’re on the fence, DO IT. You will not regret it! The pictures simply cannot do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. I would do this again in a heartbeat. It was an experience of a lifetime and a memory from Hawaii that I will treasure forever. 🚁
Our trip was canceled, at the last minute , I think they could have decided earlier. The last minute notice seemed a bit inconsiderate because it made us too late to experience a different tour
