Denne guidede tur giver dig mulighed for at opdage oprindelsen og udviklingen af Alberobello og dens trulli. Denne private tur tager dig med til Aia Piccola-distriktet, et boligkvarter med trulli, hvor du stadig kan indånde atmosfæren fra svundne tider. Det inkluderer et stop ved Belvedere for at beundre det eventyrlige landskab og fortsætter til den nye by, hvor du besøger Basilica dei Santi Medici for at lære om skytshelgenernes kult. Vi skal se Trullo Sovrano, en imponerende toetagers trullo, der huser et interessant museum om puglias traditioner. Turen slutter i turistområdet Rione Monti, der er kendetegnet ved butikker og restauranter i trulli-området. Her skal vi se Sant'Antonio-kirken, en usædvanlig trulloformet kirke. This was our third walking tour with Valeria in the Apulia region. She is a fantastic guide - we learned a lot about the trullo houses and culture and history of this UNESCO heritage city. The tour ended with an informative olive oil tasting - we were so impressed with the products we had a big order shipped home. Valeria was very kind to adjust the length of the tour to accommodate my slow pace (as I had hurt my left foot earlier in our trip). So once again, we highly recommend this walking tour with Valeria!!

Our guide, Valeria, really knew the history and stories of the village. It would have been difficult to understand Alberobello without a guide. The village is very popular with tourists and therefore crowded, but Valeria navigated around to avoid some of the chaos. The olive oil tasting was a nice stop, as part of our tour, and the young lady at the shop gave us a fun education in the various types of olive oils. Very nice tour.

Our guide in Arberobello (Cosima) was very kind and easy to follow. She shared many fascinating and authentic stories that only locals know. The testing of olive oil and balsamic vinegar in a small shop was both educational and memorable. From now on, we will always remember the true taste of real extra virgin olive oil. The teenargers enjoyed the tour too.
