Vi giver en introduktion til kunstverdenen, der lægger vægt på, hvordan man ser på og hvad man skal kigge efter, når man ser ethvert kunstværk. Ved at bruge visuelle og taktile hjælpemidler inddrager vi barnet i teknikker, proces og kunstneres motivationer. Samtidig sørger vi for, at de voksne ledsagere (over 18 år) også bliver underholdt. Efter turen vil du blive overrasket over de fælles opdagelser, du har oplevet sammen. Derudover får hvert barn et "Art Appreciation Badge". Vi anbefaler ikke denne tur til børn under 6 år, medmindre de er i en klapvogn. Vil du have et tidspunkt, der ikke er offentliggjort? Bare spørg! Har du en gruppe større end 6? Børn vil se og lære om kunstens elementer som farve, linje, komposition, perspektiv, former for skulptur og det historiske, fortælling om kunstværket på en sjov, interaktiv måde. Denne tilgang sikrer, at barnet får viden, der kan anvendes på ethvert kunstmuseum.

Sacha gave us an excellent tour at the Getty. It was designed to interest my 8 year old granddaughter and she loved it. At the end of the tour she was very interested in Impressionist art Thank you Sacha for a super day

I have a pretty simple rating system: Did you enjoy it? And would you do it again? In this case, the answer is yes. Ellen was great. Her knowledge—of the museum’s history and the artwork—made the experience much richer than it would have otherwise been for me and my fifth grade son.

My young nephews are not really museum fans however on this particular tour, they couldn't hold back their excitement. They loved the fun quizzes and enjoyed every bit of the tour.

I highly recommend Quick Cultures LA for a tour of the Getty with kids. Ellen, our docent, was very skilled at interacting with three different ages categories. She made learning fun and brought glossy photos to highlight a specific style of each artists’ paintings. In addition, she would play games and ask them fun questions to understand all the different types of art. She made it informative, fun , and they loved her surprise at the end of the tour~
