Din private guide vil møde dig på dit Kusadasi-hotel eller Kusadasi-havn på forudaftalt tid. Afhentningstidspunkt vil blive givet under bekræftelsen af din reservation.
Efter hilsen vil vi have en 20-minutters køretur til Efesos-området for at besøge et af de vigtigste højdepunkter i Tyrkiet. Efesos, en af de 12 byer i Ionian League (et gammelt græsk distrikt på den vestlige kyst af Lilleasien) ligger nær Izmir. Som havneby var det et vigtigt udgangspunkt for handelsruter til Lilleasien. Gå gennem historien langs marmorgader foret med vidunderlige offentlige bygninger. Blandt dem er Scholastica-badene og Celsus-biblioteket (det blev bygget i begyndelsen af det 2. århundrede e.Kr. af Gaius Julius Aquila for at være et mindesmærke for hans far Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, prokonsulen i provinsen Asien). Hadrians tempel og The Grand Theatre er to af de mest imponerende bygninger i Efesos. The Grand Theatre blev bygget i det 3. århundrede f.Kr., og det blev senere udvidet til 24.000 tilskuere af romerne i det 1. århundrede e.Kr.

Derefter tager vi til vores næste stop Miletus, en gammel by beliggende nær den nuværende Akköy ved mundingen af Buyuk Menderes (slynge) floden. Milet skyldte sin betydning for sin position på handelsruterne. Det var en af de største byer i Anatolien med en befolkning på mellem 80.000 og 100.000. Den var meget velstående og grundlagde mange kolonier og var hjemsted for filosofferne Anaximander, Anaximenes og Thales fra 6 f.Kr., byplanlæggeren Hippodamus og arkitekten bag Hagia Sophia, Isidorus. Med en fremtrædende position blev Milet den vigtigste havn i dette område, og det var det mest aktive medlem af de tolv byer i Det Ioniske Forbund. I det 7. århundrede f.Kr. belejrede Lydianerne byen. Byen blev derefter kontrolleret af persere, romerske og seljuk-tyrkere.
Vores sidste besøg efter Milet bliver Didyma. Ordet Didyma betyder "tvillinger", og det blev af nogle forbundet som værende mødestedet for Zeus og Leto at have deres tvillinger Apollo og Artemis. Didyma var berømt som et profeticenter dedikeret til Apollo, som tjente et lignende formål som Delphi i Anatolien. Det var ikke en by, men et helligdom forbundet med Milet af Milesians med en 19 km/12 mi hellig vej.
Efter turen tager vi dig tilbage til Kusadasi centrum eller havnen.

Mødet i Kusadasi havn varierer for hvert skib. Generelt er mødetiden 45 - 60 minutter efter dit skib ankommer. Mødet i Kusadasi Havn vil blive sendt via e-mail. Pick up fra Kusadasi Cruise Terminal for cruise gæster. Foreslået afhentning tid vil blive givet på din bekræftelse meddelelse.

It was the best tour of our cruise. We previously visited Ephesus- it was also off the cruise. This time it was even better. Our guide Nejdet was a gentleman. We had a very bad experience in Bodrum previous day. He pledged to make Kusadasi visit a delight and he did deliver. We visited two new places - Priene and Miletus. Didyma was not yet open after renovations. The company contacted us in advance and offered this new itinerary. We agreed with not much enthusiasm, but it was wonderful experience. We got to the sites early in the morning and enjoyed walking without crowds. The sites are underrated. Then we headed to Ephesus and saw it with great pleasure in the new afternoon light. On the way Nej arranged a taste of quick Turkish appetizers for us as we were running late. The food and setting was very nice, we were treated as VIPs. Thank you Nej and company!

Worth every penny. Staying at the Pine Bay Hotel and booked this trip while still in UK, I contacted the tour company who accommodated us being picked up from there no problems. We had a mini bus to ourselves as a family of four. Yavuz was our guide, excellent and very knowledgable. Unfortunately Didyma was closed so we changed our schedule for Priene, Ephesus and as it was very hot we did the Ephesus Museum indoors. We stopped for a very nice lunch by request which was fitted in happily after the outdoor sites when we were ready to cool off. We also stopped at the Temple of Artemis for a quick photo of one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world. Would definitely recommend this tour guide for communications, accommodating any changes and excellent knowledge. Also top tip - check Kusasasi Port timetable and choose a day to visit Ephesus when there are no cruise ships or only small ships in port as this will increase the crowds massively if there are big ships in port.
