Når du mødes med din guide i havnen i Kusadasi, tager du minivanen, der venter på dig foran havnen, og vil være på vej til Efesos i en halv time.
Da vi når til Efesos begynder vi at udforske denne velbevarede gamle by. Det var en by i det antikke Grækenland på Ioniens kyst, 3 kilometer sydvest for det nuværende Selçuk i Izmir-provinsen, Tyrkiet. Det blev bygget i det 10. århundrede f.Kr. på stedet for den tidligere hovedstad Arzawan af attiske og ioniske græske kolonister. Under den klassiske græske æra var det en af tolv byer, der var medlemmer af Den Ioniske Liga. Byen kom under den romerske republiks kontrol i 129 f.Kr.

Ephesus is a spectacular, special place and well worth visiting, even if you've been to other ancient cities. The Amphitheatre is overwhelming with its size and presence, and the library gives you a sense of the learned society who lived there. Worth the visit, especially with a knowledgeable guide like the one we had.

Incredible knowledgeable guide with engaging discussion. Our family had a wonderful day with Ismail, learning about the ruins, rug weaving and local traditions.
We were welcomed at the exit of the port where our cruise ship docked on time by a very friendly guide. We took this tour with our family (children 6 & 4). As we were a small group and booked early we were able to avoid the crowds at Ephesus. This tour was the best choice for our family!

We loved the trip. It was a quick easy pickup from the port and the ride was luxurious and comfortable. The ruins of Ephesus were awe inspiring and really showed us how advanced the city was.
