På vej til Potsdam vil du se det olympiske stadion, Wannsee og spionernes bro. I Potsdam slentre gennem de smukke haver, se Cecilienhof og Sanssouci, og stop også ved den barokke gamle bydel samt det hollandske kvarter. Bemærk venligst: Cecilienhof vil være lukket for renovering fra 1. nov. 2024!! Dette er en privat 5-timers tur ledet af en chauffør/guide, der giver live kommentarer ombord på en minivan med aircondition. Gruppestørrelsen er begrænset til 6 personer. Bemærk venligst, at museer (Wannsee villa, Cecilienhof/sted for Potsdam Conference) er lukket om mandagen.

Dette smukke palads blev bestilt af kong Frederik I til hans kone i 1800. Frederik II tilføjede fløjene til venstre og højre.
Det olympiske stadion blev bygget til legene i 1936. Det var her Jesse Owen vandt sine mange guldmedaljer. I dag er der sportsbegivenheder og nogle gange koncerter. Tag et billede under de berømte ringe.
Vi tager den "naturskønne rute" fra Berlin til Potsdam, så du vil se, hvor meget grønt der er, hvor mange søer og kanaler der er. Du kommer forbi Grunewald Tower og Wannsee. Hvis du vil, kan du gøre et stop ved Wannsee Villa, stedet for den berygtede konference i 1942.
Bemærk venligst, at huset er lukket om mandagen. Alle andre dage kan du gå ind i huset, hvis du har lyst, og se, hvor konferencen fandt sted.
13 huse bygget til russiske fanger, dengang medlemmer af det russiske kor, står tilbage i denne enestående bebyggelse fra begyndelsen af det 19. århundrede.
Dette er det sidste palads, som Hohenzollern byggede. Efter krigen fandt Potsdam-konferencen sted her i 1945, som afsluttede krigen og delte Tyskland og Berlin i forskellige sektorer. Hvis du vil, kan du besøge museet med lydguider. Lukket om mandagen. Lukker i flere år (!) efter november 2024!
Den gamle bydel i Potsdam blev desværre ramt af bomber i anden verdenskrig. Imidlertid forblev meget af barokbyen uskadt. Der er omkring 200 bygninger fra 1740'erne, som er tilbage, og også det gamle hollandske kvarter er blevet restaureret. Du kører gennem denne smukke del af Potsdam og har mulighed for at tage billeder eller stoppe til kaffe eller frokost.
Sanssouci Palace er berømt på grund af udsigten fra springvandet. Derfor vil din guide tage dig ned ad vinmarkerne, så du kan nyde denne smukke udsigt. Se også hvor Frederik II er begravet (ved siden af sine hunde). Nyd en vidunderlig gåtur gennem parken.

We had a lovely time with our guide Thomas. He was on time and took us on a memorable journey to Wannsee and Potsdam. He was super knowledgeable about the area and the topics surrounding the German history. Visiting Wannsee and reading/learning about the history of what happened there was an eye opener. Potsdam was beautiful with all the castles and houses. Overall, it was a very good trip-well paced for 5 hours. One piece of advise- we barely had time for lunch-it may be better to pack your lunch and go on this trip.

Communicating with this tour group was exceptional. All my questions were quickly addressed. Loved the tour. There was no problem accommodating our request to be dropped off at the airport. The guide even escorted us inside and was willing to wait with us until we got to security. Our guide was articulate, knowledgeable, flexible and a lot of fun. The driver wasn't only a careful driver, he was humorous, and also gave the guide some added information to share.

Our guide, Thomas, really was excellent. His knowledge and stories about all the different places we visited and the people involved made for a most memorable day ! The history of everything from the the buildings on Unter den Linden , to the Olympic Stadium ,to the Bridge of Spies and onto the Wannsee Conference House and the palaces in Potsdam was brought to life by his engaging and highly interesting story telling ! We were in the east by campervan and our destination was Potsdam, Weimar and Erfurt. Every city had its highlights, but Potsdam was already special 😍. A great atmosphere, a special flair and the scent of lime have rounded off the stay. It was very nice there.
We had a great day touring Potsdam and learning about the history of the empirics as well as the modern significance of the beautiful palaces. Our guide, Sven, was very knowledgeable!

From the enlightening House of the Wannsee Conference, to the fabulous grounds of Schloss Cecilienhof and Sanssouci Palace, the quaint allure of the Old Dutch Quarter, the iconic "Bridge of Spies" and much more, this tour to the outskirts of Berlin was well worth our time (and money). There was much to see and be awe-inspired by, and Luca's friendly nature and trove of knowledge made the tour all the more interesting and memorable. Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Berlin with 5-6 hours to spare!

Sven and our driver Jorgen were very attentive to our special needs and made sure we maximize the tour, as we have a kid and a senior with us. They made the trip very enjoyable. Thomas is an excellent guide who is very knowledgeable. He imparted many tidbits of information that we wouldn’t have found out otherwise. The ride in the van with Marius driving was very pleasant. From the punctual pickup and drop off, the whole tour was enjoyable and informative, the five hours seemed to have flown quickly.
