Private Day Tour of Quito og Middle of the World

Our day with Freddy was absolutely perfect, and we’re so glad we got to spend the day with him! He knows so much about Quito and Ecuador and has so much knowledge to share. He also seems to know everyone in Quito 😊 which makes for wonderfully unique experiences. We felt completely safe and comfortable walking around the city with Freddy and got to see places we never would’ve found on our own. If we could give a 10 star review, we would!

Outstanding in all respects. Angela and Jaime are great—knowledgeable, organized, trustworthy, and very reasonably priced. My wife and I spent a full day exploring Quito with them. Highly highly recommend!!

Angela & Jamie were excellent tour guides for Quito. They guided our family of three for the day as we visited the Virgin of El Panecillo that provided great views of the city, the Plaza de la Independencia, multiple churches, chocolate tasting and a visit to the equator (Middle of the World). They were engaging, knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with. We highly recommend them if visiting Quito!

Reuben was a great guide: everything you hope one will be: friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. His English was excellent and he was quick to ask my interests and anticipated what I might be most interested in. I travel a lot and know a great guide when I am lucky to have one.

It was a wonderful and fun tour that Angela and Jamie offered. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. We learnt a lot about Ecuador and Quito during the day. The activities are really fun. We tried delicious chocolate and learnt how chocolate is made, history of the churches, fruit in Ecuador, etc. We enjoyed the activities at the middle of the world. Highly recommended! Wow! We had such an incredible day thanks for Angela and Jaime. Their knowledge and passion for Ecuador is inspiring and contagious. Do not hesitate to book their tours, it’s the best money you’ll spend during your visit. It felt like we were spending the day with our friends, was so comfortable, warm, and personal. I will definitely be recommending Angela and Jamie to our friends when visiting Ecuador.

Thank-you so much Ruben. We had a fabulous day, ended up being just the two of us and Ruben was happy to tailor the trip to what we were interested in and hasn’t seen yet. Expect to be flexible with your itinerary and for us this was a real bonus. We really enjoyed the Museo Intiñan Equator museum. Great English speaking guides giving us a taster of Amazonian culture with some interesting artefacts. Enjoyed hearing about how the Incas worked out this was the centre of the earth and used markings in stone as calendars. Exciting driving around the hilly streets of Quito then Ruben had sneaky parking spots to avoid the traffic /parking Q’s and then it was really fun to wander round with him. Learnt so much about the streets, squares, buildings and the many, many churches that we walked past or explored. Ended up with the drive up the hill to the winged Mary . This is a highly recommended day out and very enjoyable, perfect pace and so much to see and learn. The communication was excellent we had a small hiccup as no parking allowed outside our hotel but I was able to WhatsApp Angela and Jamie and was reassured he was on his way. They were absolutely fantastically helpful when I left an item in the car, returning it to our hotel with-in hours of me letting them know. There were small extra costs for the activities we did but the tour was really worthwhile to be driven around without having to organise it ourselves but most importantly having great company and learning lots about this fascination city.

We had a wonderful time on this adventure. Jean Pierre (or JP) was a great guide. We learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. This was truly a tour for “us”. There was no meeting deadlines…just like hanging out with a knowledgeable friend on a tour of the city.

What a beautiful day. We think our wonderful Guide Jean Pierre (JP) might have even ordered the perfect weather. He planned things perfectly. We had very little (if any) wait time for attractions. We started with the cable car to climb up to the swings and see the volcano We even were able to have photos take. With llamas! We also visited many beautiful churches. The highlight was standing at the equator and participating in the science experiments (yes…we can be nerdy). The last stop for coffee was delicious. JP was a wonderful guide and we give this tour 10/10.
